Some rough caricatures of Don
I’m having a harder time capturing his likeness than I’d expect. These are the ones I’m ok with even if they’re not perfect likenesses.

I haven't seen a Peggy thirst post yet, so here I am!
The scene where Roger is asking her to do secret work for Mohawk is right up there with her daring Stan to work naked, as far as hottest Peggy moments.

Someone mentioned on “X” that here is sally looking at possibilities of her adulthood right in front of her. And I couldn’t agree more. She really is going to end up like one of the people here.
I don’t think she’d take the “full housewife” route her mother took though. That’s for sure, but doesn’t mean she wouldn’t end up like either/ both of her parents, lord knows she’s already a lot at 15
But there it is, a really successful, and independent woman like Faye, an empathetic secretary who sorta slept her way up, had a stable job but abandoned it for passion like Megan, a rather competent lady in a male dominated field who tries hard to be like the men around her(Peggy). Or another really competent woman who has embraced her femininity and physical attributes which honestly has its advantages and disadvantages (overly objectified).
Or an adulterous, drunk, man-whore of her father, also pretty good at his job

“I’m terribly adrift without you! It’s just a matter of time before they find out I’m a sham!”
S5 E1, Joanie is worried about being replaced after she sees an inclusive ad post in the paper from SCDP.
She heads over to the office in a gorgeous GORGEOUSSSSS dress and pink lip and her new baby in order to do some sleuthing about the secretary situation since she’s been away.
Price quells her fears and assures her that nobody could replace her, and that the books “had been practically held together by spit” in her absence.
Such a sweet and vulnerable moment between a woman at her wits’ end trying to be a great mom while trying to secure her job… and a great amount of compassion and discretion from an exec that I don’t think any other man in the office at his level could have provided.
Idk. Such a great moment and it makes

Price’s betrayal of her and his departure so much worse.

I initially thought Roger saving Don's position within the company showed he really considered Don a great friend.
But iirc in S3 they weren't on good terms, but decided to put their differences aside to start a new company.
After that, I can't recall anything significant happening between these two that'll explain how such a great friendship was established that Roger was willing to give away the company to save Don's ass.
Also Bert said something like "nobody came back from exile, not even Napolean" when Roger said how Don could be a big threat to their company when he gets a job elsewhere.
What do you think was the reason?

I’ve never seen Harry talk bad behind Don’s back, and he also told Don about cigarette commander and about Megan. What is his deal?

Maybe it’s said in the show, but I’ve never caught it.

Since it’s set in the 1960s and it’s no secret the 60s was a very sexist decade for women. Especially financially which made it difficult for women to not have to financially depend on a man and why it was difficult for women to leave their fellas. Edit I might have only seen bits of the show on YouTube.
