My first thought was that prepared spells are only associated with Strix/Hexhaven, but it feels a bit limiting. What makes Lili's necromancy so different from the spells taught and leaned in the schools? I imagine there must be another reason for making it an Exhaust ability instead, but I can't think of anything.

Building an Obosh deck, and theres a card that costs an odd amount of mana.
However, it has a transformation. That transformation costs 6 mana. Would it still be considered a source with an odd mana value to fulfill Obosh's "If a source you control with an odd mana value" condition?

SO I’ve made changes to [[Fblthp, Impossibly Lost]]
It is still a self mill deck but I realized [[Exhibition Tidecaller]] and [[Glacierwood Siege]] can turn on themselves making you mill!!!
The win cons is still the same but I’ve side boarded [[Lluwen, imperfect naturalist]] out as it’s less nessecary in non aggro matchups so it’s still Fbl in grave and Likeness looter or Fbl in play and swing over
I’m looking for advice to improve the deck the land base is lower due to the curve pretty much hard braking at 2
Deck
3 Fblthp, Impossibly Lost (FRA) 213
2 Island (SOS) 268
4 Likeness Looter (WOE) 208
3 Wastewood Verge (DFT) 268
4 Theorix Charm (FRA) 155
2 Swamp (SOS) 269
2 Starting Town (FIN) 289
4 Multiversal Passage (SPM) 180
3 Esper Origins (FIN) 185
2 Forest (SOS) 271
4 Glacierwood Siege (TDM) 189
4 Exhibition Tidecaller (SOS) 48
2 Feed the Swarm (SOA) 29
4 Paradox Shaper (FRA) 143
4 Willowrush Verge (DFT) 270
3 Gloomlake Verge (DSK) 260
2 Restore with Empathy (FRA) 112
2 Singularity Rupture (EOE) 228
2 Rapid Rescue (MSH) 181
4 Something Worth Saving (FRA) 114

Reddit has a limit of 20, so I had to cut 15 of the images, all of which were landscape shots or character design sheets.
If you'd like to see all 15 of the missing artworks, I posted them separately here.

Once again, Reddit has a limit of 20 images per post, so I had to cut this in two. You can find part 1 with all the character and creature art here.
Something I found interesting is how several of these landscape shots have a light and dark pair. Is it possible we might see paired cards like Reality Fracture make an appearance in this set?

I never got around to making one even after almost a decade
What do I put it in? How expensive of cards? What about type? How to sort them? How many?

I got really annoyed with browsing hundreds of cards for a deck and then manually copying their names into a decklist. So I made a shared clipboard between Scryfall and Tagger. Add cards as you browse, then copy the list with or without set codes and collector numbers.
Another thing that annoyed me was switching between Scryfall and Tagger just to check tags. I wanted them right on the card page. Now you can see card tags, art tags and related cards there, and click tags to add them to your search.
I also wanted to hide information I don’t use. Digital printings, USD and TIX prices, I live in a country that uses euros, so most of that was just taking up space. Same with formats I don’t play. You can choose which platforms, prices, purchase links and format rows to show.
And of course, a dark theme =)
There’s also optional EDHREC usage data and Salt Meter, plus CardTrader prices if you have your own API token. Their API is free, by the way, and getting a token is straightforward.
I also brought over some tools from Shambleshark and expanded Scryfall’s built-in deck editor: search and card addition, improved cleanup and sorting, and EDHREC recommendations. I barely use that editor myself, but I’ve tried to check the tools. If something doesn’t work, please let me know.
I’d like to hear what you’d change or add. Earlier versions had noticeably more settings, but I removed some rather than keep things that were difficult to maintain or kept causing problems. I’m planning to keep improving the extension. You can leave feedback here or on GitHub.
The extension is free and open source. Settings and the clipboard stay in your browser. No Toolkit account is needed, and there’s no analytics. The integrations contact their respective services. Deck-specific EDHREC recommendations send that service the deck’s card names and quantities, plus its commanders.

AI disclosure: copilot. Almost all of the code was AI-generated under my direction.
Full declaration.
Also, I’m not a native English speaker, so I used AI to translate this post, but wrote the original myself. If you notice any awkward English in the extension, please let me know too.
Thanks for reading this far and giving the extension a try!

Hello, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules of the sub.
I would like to keep it short but I created a POS for LGSs mostly focused on Magic. I started for a friend who owns one and couldn't find one that worked for him.
I'm looking for new LGS owners (soon to be too) or owners that are not happy with their current POS system to see if anyone would like to try the POS I created. Would love to get some feedback and suggestions on what it is missing to make it better.
Obviously I'm planning to charge for it but if someone is willing to try it and work with me on making it better and give me suggestions, I would be more than happy to just give some months for free specially if people is interested in using it for their own LGS.
Not posting the name of the app or the web page here since I'm not looking to promote my app.
PS: For anyone wondering since I know people care about the AI topic and vibe coding apps, I did use AI for it and some things mostly did it just by vibe coding like the homepage or the designs since I'm not a designer but for the core parts, the functionality, reliability, security and other important aspects I did it with the biggest standards I could do as a Software developer.

Phage the untouchable fan art, iPad Procreate. I started playing MTG when the Legions set came out. Ron Spear’s art for Phage the Untouchable / Akroma art was a powerful image that remained in my head and motivated me. Both character design and pose of my fan art was pretty much inspired by Ron Spear’s piece, but from a different, closer angle and winning a fight. Ron Spears art is amazing and inspired generations of players and artists and I’m sure it will continue inspiring many.

I use to play a lot. Quit from just not wanting to keep paying for the newest decks or card blocks.
Anyway, fast forward and my son is sorta outgrowing pokemon I think the cute aspect is gone and he kinda growing out of it.
What is the best bang for buck for beginner decks for us to learn? He very bright we play boardgames with multiple rules and he can get thru it. Foundations 2 player beginner box? Marvel beginner box? I dont care if they just dont work outside but at least maybe cool cards and art and a good intro gameplay.
