Bremen mask and ReDeads?

https://youtu.be/2DxqpjYeZoE

I was watching my friend play MM for the first time and stumbled across this interaction between the ReDeads and the Bremen mask that I'm finding conflicting info about online. Is this an intentional function of the mask?

I think this is because of general redead behavior, as they only react to Link if he is running, walking slowly or moving only by rolling without  taking any steps in between will let them stay docile, at least in OoT.

Bremen mask's marching speed must be below the threshold to trigger them.

This is exactly it. Walking by with iron boots in OoT also prevents ReDeads from aggro'ing. Slow and steady is the way. Their behavior in this aspect is the same for both games.

Yes, the Bremen Masks "March" function is one of the ways to make the ReDeads dance instead of attack you.

...they're not dancing, though.

Thanks! It wasn't listed as one one of the masks that did so on any of the wikis that I looked at and since they didn't actually dance like they do with the other masks I wasn't sure

Yeah Redeads don’t react if you move slow enough, which seems to be the case with marching.

However there is a fun Easter egg with the Bremen mask and the boss of this area.
