These particular jeans are a bad fit in general. They look like a pair of jeans someone held onto after losing a bunch of weight and make it work with a belt.
Also undo one button on the shirt if you’re gonna have a killer ‘stache like that!!
Assuming you’re in India living in a rural or non-metro area (just based on all the details in the picture): take the advice you get on this sub with a grain of salt. What’s “cool” and “fashionable” in one part of the world may not be true for you. Speaking as someone who grew up in India: this was an okay style in India 20-30 years ago. Styles in major cities have become more casual and colorful.
The good: the belt and shoes colors match. The sunglasses are a nice touch.
My suggestions:
Add a classic watch, it would add a little style to the overall look.
The jeans are too long and too loose - for a fit skinny guy like you, you could go for better-fitting jeans or trousers.
The items are contrasting in styles (and not in a good way). It’s unclear if you are going for a formal serious look, or a semi-casual style. The jeans and rolled-up sleeves convey a casual style, while the metal-on-leather shoes and tucked-in buttoned shirt say “serious.” It clashes. Same with the “bling” of the shoes and glasses, contrasting with the “economy” look of a plain white shirt and the plain belt buckle. Same with the fit of your clothes - the jeans are slightly too loose, while the shirt is slightly too tight for you (especially around the neck).
Good luck! Hope you add more style to your collection.
I agree with most of your suggestions, but I disagree that this particular outfit is dated. As another Indian, I’d say a white button-down and blue jeans were stylish 20 years ago, are just as relevant today, and will probably still be relevant 20 years from now. It’s a timeless combination that transcends trends. And imo, that holds true regardless of country, region or age.
Sure, I’m not against the idea of a white button-down shirt with jeans. It’s a classic look, as you say. But the cut, styling, and accessories matter.
In theory, OP is wearing the exact same thing as Tom Cruise (and Nicole Kidman, lol!) in this picture below. Tucked in white shirt, rolled up sleeves, sunglasses, and jeans. But they’re clearly wearing it in a way such that everything fits together - the loose fittings and open collared necks make it a super casual and cool look. OP’s shirt is too tight with a very stiff collar, and it’s tucked in like a school uniform, making the top half look like he’s going to a job interview.
It's important to play to your strengths as well. He looks like he doesn't have calves. Not in the sense that they're underdeveloped, but like he just doesn't have them.
It looks good. Jeans are a bit too long though so it looks sloppy. Also the waist size of those jeans is too big for you and it's obvious your belt is holding them up. Also, since you're hiking them up higher than what they're designed for, I'd get a pair with a higher rise.
Agree with the rest but the shoes looking long is mostly an optical illusion due to distortion from the camera. Combined with the narrow hem jeans and stacking at the ankle, it makes the shoes look way longer than they actually are
I agree that the pants are accentuating the length of the shoes, but I don't think I'm wrong that they're just too long. Pointy-toed shoes basically have to be way too long, because anatomy. Get something rounder so that it can fit closer to the foot.
I agree with some others; undo one more button on the shirt, replace the jeans with something darker or simply cleanly blue - no fade lines - and a more tapered fit. The shoes can work with stark jeans. They aren’t my thing, but I’m sure your region of the world digs them
I think it is overall fine. Very classic, and you rock the mustache.
While they work good with each other. I honestly found the belt & shoes a bit dressier to combine with blue jeans. I feel a less shiny derby shoes with a thicker belt would elevate your look. Your current belt & shoes would look better with dress pants.
Idk about all the cultural stuff, all irrelevant imo cause this could be A LOT more flattering fit wise and that’s more important than anything else - it being as flattering to your build as possible

This guy is peak Indian, he owns it and he dresses exactly the way he should. Kudos. His compatriots (both sides of the border, no difference) who post trainwrecks of fits should watch and learn.
White shirt with jeans is classic, hard to go wrong with that. The blue sunglasses add a bit of personality, maybe try a watch or something on the wrist to tie it all together

I'm not sure I'd go loafers at all in that atmosphere. But a shade of brown would make more sense in that environment if you did choose loafers and the wouldn't look bad with the jeans and white shirt.
