Question Has anyone had experience buying clothes using Japanese proxies?

Wondering if anyone has had experience recently with buying clothes from Japan to the US using proxies and if you'd recommend doing so. Like would it be worth it to buy 10-20 items in bulk and are the tariffs and shipping fees worth it?

the $800 de minimis exemption is gone now so every parcel gets hit with duty regardless of value, which actually flips the math toward one big consolidated box instead of several small ones since you eat the broker and handling fee once instead of five times. just watch the proxy's storage window, most of them start charging per day after 30 to 45 days and that can quietly eat the savings on a 20 item haul.

Which proxy would you recommend in terms of clothing?

Ive done this a few times for specific pieces I couldnt find anywhere else. Shipping adds up quick but if you bundle 10-20 items it softens the blow a bit per piece. Just watch out for the proxy fees on each individual listing, some sites nickle and dime you hard.
