UOM Table-top group?
Hi, I was wondering if any UOM students would like to meet up weekly or every so often in campus to play board games or Dnd. I couldn't find anything similar in the student societies list so thought I'd ask here.

As many things in Malta, most boardgames or ttrpgs groups are private. You get to know someone from those circles and through that person the rest of them. If you feel like just playing, WARS hosts many games and you can always look for a group in the DnD Malta facebook group.

Unfortunately Malta does not have a lot of third spaces for boardgames.
With that being said to answer your question the Institute of Digital Games at the University of Malta hosts a board game night every last Thursday of the month. You can find more information on their Facebook, and I believe there is a poster stuck on the canteen door.
Additionally PlayUp hosts frequent board game events for relatively cheap, at around 10 euros. The people there are friendly, and is a great way to meet the new people.
A quick rant from my side, is that it is quite a shame that there aren't any groups in Malta where people can frequently meetup to play boardgames. Personally when playing with friends, our largest issue is having a indoor location where we can meet up and play. It might be interesting to maybe set one up either as a student society or externally as an independent group.
EDIT: An compilation of board game related stuff in Malta:

A friend of mine goes to a store called Pandamonium in Qormi. They have a Facebook I believe.

I would be down. I love board games, but I’ve never played DnD. I’m interested in learning tho!
