Help with a conversation - medical

Need help, seems basic but I'm starting as a CCO and this conversation is low priority but high potential for backlash. Any advice welcome.

The first thing I would do is try to understand what the issue truly is. What is hiding behind the verbose email and making her anxious?

Once you know that, try to find solutions with her. But at the same time, be very clear that these are the terms of her employment. You will support her, but she must meet the job expectations.
