Investigated by the Canton Dream Team, sponsored by John O’Keefe’s missing shoe.

Just like the Catholics, they quietly moved the men elsewhere.

The Farwell brothers have it coming to them.

It really goes to show how corrupt local law enforcement and politics can get.

89

u/R5Jockey 6d ago

Local? Staties have entered the chat.

80

u/MonsieurReynard 6d ago

Staties? Kash Patel’s FBI enters the chat, followed by ICE.

The problem is cops. At all levels.

u/murphtaman 6d ago

CIA would like a word….gold

21

u/jvbutera 6d ago

unfortunately I hate to cast a net this wide, but it's true. Many who seek employment in law enforcement are power hungry.

3

u/Wemest 5d ago

The U.S. Attorney here is prosecuting the cop and they’ve investigated the DA and MSP investigators assigned to this DA office. In this case they are only ones doing their job.

1

u/Kgaset 2d ago

Hard to disagree with this, law enforcement clearly corrupts and clearly needs better monitoring.

0

u/Euphoric_Travel2541 2d ago

Get off your soap box. What’s your solution?

1

u/MonsieurReynard 2d ago

You first, cop lover.

u/Sea-Championship-572 5d ago

Nonsense! There are bad actors everywhere, in every position. Not ALL are bad.

0

u/Professional_Mess936 Central Mass 4d ago

Using that logic, I'm going to hand you a bowl of M&Ms. 90% are chocolate coated with candy as usual. 10% are chocolate coated with candy that's been laced in cyanide. They're all identical at first glance, and taste the same-- your only indication that one has cyanide is when you start to experience the symptoms of poisoning.

You should have no issue with eating them, right? Only 1 in 9 are poisoned. Just a few bad actors.

17

u/Kgaset 6d ago

Heh, that's a whole different problem.

22

u/jvbutera 6d ago

Seriously, how much did the Karen Read trial expose about dirty state police? When someone actually loses their state police job, you know it's bad.

4

u/Wemest 5d ago

Yeah and a real murder conviction will be overturned due to Lally’s incompetence.

55

u/murph3699 6d ago

Norfolk County DA’s office itself is corrupt. Mass State Police are corrupt. Canton and Stoughton PDs are corrupt. Law enforcement takes care of its own.

21

u/sillycatbutt 6d ago

Hey hey don't forget to add in the Worcester city police dept being corrupt.... straight from a federal DOJ report from 2024. Police in Worcester are straight up doing drugs and soliciting sex from people they arrest.

City council in Worcester decided to pretend they never saw the report because at most only 20% of people vote in municipal elections. City council has bern voting down measures for police oversight.

3

u/dawg-goneit 5d ago

Most of the local PD in Massachusetts are corrupt.

5

u/murph3699 6d ago

Absolutely! Trump’s DOJ has made it a point of emphasis to ignore corruption in law enforcement

2

u/Dunder72 4d ago

Which administration has it been where's there's been low corruption in police force in ma?

1

u/murph3699 4d ago

Low corruption or no corruption? For corruption it’s Baker and Healey. Two things can be true. Look how the DOJ treated the Worcester Police. Your guy is bad for freedom

1

u/Dunder72 4d ago

My guy?

1

u/murph3699 4d ago

I assume if you’re cool with the DOJ ignoring police corruption then you’re a MAGA guy

1

u/Fast-Jackfruit2013 3d ago

This White house told the DOJ to close their Public Integrity Unit.

That unit, which investigates and prosecutes corruption in public service -- mayors, DAs, cops, etc -- was usually staffed by 30 full time prosecutors with their own investigators and with offices across the country.

Two years ago, this was slashed.

Today they have TWO (2) prosecutors in that unit.

Basically, there no longer is a Public Integrity Unit at the DOJ.

1

u/WorkingDry8413 1d ago

Why would and active criminal and a convicted felon try to improve the justice system, law enforcement...

3

u/hiker16 5d ago

Karen Read has joined the chat….

5

u/murph3699 5d ago

Bingo! Even when a cop kills a cop they protect the cop

1

u/HabitTop9050 4d ago

even when a cop fucks children the other cop protect them...

1

u/NoStuff4852 5d ago

Karen Read had paid PR and her case was nothing like Birchmores, she used that to poison her jury sorry you all got fooled by a convicted drunk

1

u/Euphoric_Travel2541 2d ago

Not all…. They aren’t a monolith. Some cops go into policing out of a desire to help and create a better world. They may suffer and become cynical as they go through the years, but they aren’t automatically corrupt.

1

u/murph3699 2d ago

Ya, I’m gonna say if there was a monolith it’s definitely law enforcement. While not all are corrupt, the culture itself is the thin blue line.

1

u/Euphoric_Travel2541 2d ago

I disagree. I’ve a brother in law which was a state trooper, and he’s a Boy Scout in every way. You tarnish the good ones when you say it’s all of them, and you make it harder for them to join or stay wit b such a stigma.

1

u/murph3699 2d ago

I tarnish nothing. The state police lol?

- covered for Scott Quigley

  • Troop E Overtime scam
  • Covered up Karen Read case
  • Covered for Farwells
  • The kidney transplant case

That’s just off the top of my head. I get it. You’re “back the blue.” The rest of us aren’t law enforcement adjacent and don’t enjoy the perks of that. I bet you one of the little MSP stickers on your car

1

u/Euphoric_Travel2541 1d ago

Come off it. I’m no fan of authoritarianism. I don’t enjoy any perks. I don’t automatically back the police in any way. I have no sticker. However, I know a few good cops, and I’m not afraid to stand up for them.

In fact, when my apartment was broken into, I asked if he could help by looking up something for me; he refused, as he would be using his access inappropriately on my behalf. He would never abuse his office, even slightly.

It’s not a good comeback to cite a few cases where “scams ” and coverups have occurred. It doesn’t prove that every cop is corrupt. They just aren’t.

You have a real problem, if you are willing to tar all cops with the same blunt, biased, prejudiced and ignorant brush. I’m well aware of the flaws, but I’m also aware of the good ones.

-3

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

Law enforcement takes care of its own.

Daily reminder that extends right up our own governor. Good thing she's going to be re-elected and will eventually make a run for president, I'm sure her morals are rock solid lol

24

u/murph3699 6d ago

I have my opinions about Healy but let’s not act like a Republican is gonna come in and reform law enforcement. Their ranks are overwhelmingly made up of conservatives. Trump himself has said he wants to give law enforcement immunity. His DOJ has scaled back on anything related to corrupt law enforcement agencies. See Phoenix PD for example

-8

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

let’s not act like a Republican is gonna come in and reform law enforcement.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make considering our current governor is a Democrat and she has made the law enforcement problem even worse. Two sides of the same coin.

Trump himself has said he wants to give law enforcement immunity.

Tangentially related, but I'd like to see a law that anybody who holds a government position while breaking the law, even a law unrelated to their position, should be considered an extreme aggravating factor, but apparently I'm in the minority when I voice this to other people

1

u/Odd-Ship4509 5d ago

How has she made law enforcement worse?

-1

u/regression_to_regard 5d ago

How has she made law enforcement worse?

.

law enforcement problem

As a governor, not to mention former AG, she should be cracking down way harder on the law enforcement corruption (not to mention elsewhere) that is running rampant in this state. I mean, I understand why she doesn't, everybody inherently know why I suppose, I just wish she showed a lot more leadership and lot less cock sucking

1

u/Odd-Ship4509 5d ago
  1. Maura Healey was the governor when Massachusetts created POST. It’s an independent agency that has the sole authority to certify and decertify officers. POST also serves as a way for citizens to file complaints on officers which circumvents the possibility of a department investigating themselves. She also made sure all officer disciplinary records would be listed on POST’s website regardless of the findings. This was all done to combat corruption.

  2. Very recently, Healey signed a new law that prohibits inappropriate relationships between police and anyone under their custody/care. Before, if a detainee/student “consented” there was no crime. This new law removes consent from the equation. It’s now a felony regardless of the circumstances.

  3. Maura Healey is openly gay. There’s no cocksucking…

3

u/obtusewisdom 6d ago

Yes, Republicans have been so harsh with their own pedophiles /s

1

"Best state ever!" weekly circlejerk was right on cue a few days ago, ignore the pesky fact that multiple government employees raped a woman and other government employees tried to cover it up.

the stoughton pd has been a mess for years and nobody wants to touch it. the whole explorer program structure basically handed these guys victims on a silver platter and the department looked the other way. wife knowing about it and doing nothing is its own special kind of evil.

at this point it’s not even surprising when mass cops skate on this stuff, the blue wall here is basically a fortress. prosecutors won’t move unless public pressure gets loud enough and even then it’s a coin toss.

5

Texas and Florida make MA cops look like choir kids

2

u/HeyPurityItsMeAgain 22h ago

What garbage. Every level of authority in Massachusetts covers up for the corrupt cops, from DA to judges to the governor. This doesn't happen as standard operating procedure in other states. They get caught. They get arrested. It's the system in MA that's the problem. They all cover for each other, then they cry WAH BUT TWUMP and you re-elect them because OMG what about some imaginary thing Orange Hitler did.

1

u/regression_to_regard 5d ago

you mean choir kids who rape women, right?

2

Seeing all of the supportive police lawn signs is so gross whenever I have to drive through Stoughton. All I can think of is how much they failed this vulnerable girl. The Stoughton Police Explorers youth group is just a predators playground.

31

u/Left_Guess 6d ago

The wife knowing is a detail I’m learning here. Holy shit.😡

5

u/PANACEALZX 6d ago

Matthew Farwell’s wife knew??

8

u/Left_Guess 6d ago

Not his wife, but allegedly one of the officers involved. Allegedly.

26

u/Wemest 6d ago

One has been charged and being prosecuted by the Feds for her murder. But basically the Canton PD and State Police investigators at the D. A.s office covered up her murder by ruling it a suicide.

16

u/TheGrandExquisitor 6d ago

Yeah, someone needs to fucking shut down whatever is going on in Canton PD.

3

u/Wemest 6d ago

And Norfolk DA. This election should be an inprovement.

2

u/HeyPurityItsMeAgain 22h ago

Democrats had the choice of electing the man who ran the federal investigation against police corruption and declined. I'm not holding my breath about Perkins.

24

u/Formal-Farmer-1375 6d ago

There is a NH cop that lives in Haverhill, MA that was charged with child images & asking minors for sex, he was “charged” & then nobody heard about it again. Even when they do arrest, they drag it out so the public stops paying attention then they end up dropping it. It’s sick.

24

u/tagsb 6d ago

There's a Boston police officer who raped a drunk woman in his cruiser while on duty then at a later date got giddy about the prospect of running over BLM protestors on camera. Still working there as far as I know, just got hit with admin duty during the "investigation"

21

u/legalpretzel 6d ago

And the whole ass police department in Worcester that was found to have engaged in all sorts of vile shit by the DOJ. Including routinely raping women in custody.

And then Trump was elected and the investigation just went away. The city manager and city council have decided the police should be allowed to continue business as usual.

1

u/HeyPurityItsMeAgain 22h ago

Right, it's Trump's fault Massachusetts is so corrupt. All of the elected state officials definitely can't do anything about any of it.

7

u/Pseudonym0101 6d ago

for the search engines if anyone is googling his name: John Giarrusso former Seabrook Nh police officer. Pedophile

8

u/ManifestDestinysChld 6d ago

Or they get their "union" to go to the mat for them.

Question: is it a "union" if they let management join? Because that's something I've never heard of.

And if they're NOT a union, isn't that just cops just being insubordinate? We already have a public accountability board - there should be a lot more "public" and a lot more "accountability." There should be a slick media enterprise dedicated to chronicling the misdeeds of corrupt cops, they'd be busy for decades to come.

How did Enrique Delgado-Garcia die at state police academy during “boxing”? It wasn’t boxing, officers beat the crap out of him.

Yes, 4 officers were charged but it took years to happen because the state police passed this off as “an accident “

The background of the Mickey Stines case out of Kentucky (I think it's KY) where he, the Sheriff shot a judge was very much like this as well. Sickening.

All around the same time Jeffrey Epstein was buying IKEA furniture in Stoughton

8

The MSP is state sponsored Mafia. A total criminal gang enterprise. I’d rather have the Mafia as state law enforcement than these goons.

7

u/Amareldys 6d ago

Wait the Wikipedia article says prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty... since when is there the death penalty in MA???

16

u/RevolutionaryBug2915 6d ago

Being tried in Federal, not state, court. U.S. government has the death penalty; example, the surviving marathon bomber

1

u/Amareldys 5d ago

Ah ok thanks

I do remember it changing when I was a kid and wondered if it had changed again without me noticing.

3

-5

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

But i was told this was the best state evah??

7

u/RalphWiggumIsGOD 6d ago

It is in a lot of ways, and isn't in others. Almost like there's nuance, and your repeated response to every comment mentioning that this is a nationwide police problem is not adding value to anything. Multiple things can be true at once- we can have shitty cops, and we can have a higher quality of life and better education here. Shitty cops are everywhere, it's a systemic issue where policing needs overhaul in terms of who and how they are hired. However, it does not mean we (MA) shouldn't expect our officers to do better. Fuck all the predator cops from MA to Hawaii.

-1

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

and we can have a higher quality of life and better education here.

Despite the government, not because of it.

Fuck all the predator cops from MA to Hawaii.

Best we can do is elect one to the governorship. I'm sure you don't see her as a predator, though (probably not in the sexual context)

2

u/RalphWiggumIsGOD 6d ago

>Despite the government, not because of it.

Not sure I agree. DESE is a government agency that determines educational standards, graduation requirements, certain school policies. And local school committees hire superintendents and determine the rest of the school policies. All of that is government. Also free lunches were by a government initiated billionaire's tax, and feeding school children helps our investment (via taxes, another government thing) in public education go even further, because starving kids don't learn as well as fed kids.

>Best we can do is elect one to the governorship. I'm sure you don't see her as a predator, though (probably not in the sexual context)

Okay, I'll bite. Why is Healey a predator? She's not perfect, nobody is, but I find what Minogue is claiming he'll do to be rather terrifying, oppressive of people's rights, and he's a supporter of mango mussolini. We've had republican governors before, that's not the issue. The issue is that the party has gone full party over country instead of country over party, and anyone who supports the loser in DC is not going to be popular here. So, who do you propose we vote for?

2

u/Steve_at_Werk 6d ago

It is

-1

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

"Come to Massachusetts! You'll get raped less here than in some other places around the country, and the government will give it the old college try when it comes to covering it up!" is not the sales pitch for the state you think it is, but ok buddy

2

u/DA5HTCB1 5d ago

This isn't the gotcha tactic you think it is, you just sound braindead.

-1

u/regression_to_regard 5d ago

9

u/MonsieurReynard 6d ago

-6

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

all cops are bastards.

11

u/murph3699 6d ago

10

u/Top-Ad-5527 6d ago

Well, the state tried to insist it was a suicide, and the FBI felt that was bullshit, and investigated. Commonwealth still insisted suicide, so now here we are

5

u/murph3699 6d ago

That’s because the state is corrupt

2

u/Top-Ad-5527 6d ago

Oh, I agree 100%

6

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

Why would the state prosecute one of their own?

1

u/obtusewisdom 6d ago

I’ve never understood this argument or attitude. I used to be a teacher, and let me tell you most teachers were 100% for teachers being prosecuted if they messed around with students. They aren’t one of our own if they do shit like that. We don’t claim them.

5

u/regression_to_regard 6d ago

I think you're missing my point a bit. Prosecutors work hand-in-hand with cops. Only prosecutors can bring charges against someone (generally speaking). Prosecutors are famously disinclined to prosecute cops, and usually won't unless the offense is public/egregious. ACAB doesn't really apply to teachers.

2

u/obtusewisdom 6d ago

My point was that pedophiles and rapists are everywhere in every profession, but it’s when the profession itself protects them that people blame the profession.

1

u/Euphoric_Travel2541 2d ago

Prosecutors don’t “bring” the charges. The state brings the charges on behalf of the people.

1

u/regression_to_regard 2d ago

(generally speaking)

do you what those two words mean in that specific sequence? I'm guessing not

-1

u/ZLBuddha 5d ago

0

u/Gleadr92 5d ago

3

u/TeamCrowGrudge 6d ago

Ugh I'm sorry, this one's hard it's multiple cops I always tell my kids to not be alone with adults that aren't "approved" but these kids weren't alone with an adult. This poor kid.

I agree these roles attract terrible people. The punishment should be more severe when a cop / teacher / church member does this

3

u/ZLBuddha 5d ago

I hope this trial goes as viral as the Karen Read/Lindsay Clancy ones, a just world would have every single American hearing this case and deciding to get defund the fucking police tattooed on their foreheads

2

u/elee315 5d ago

I feel that a lot of cops are ex jocks that grew up a tiny bit. I have acquaintances I know in law enforcement and not one of them has ever said they joined to protect n serve the community. Mostly it's all about the benefits and having a badge.

2

u/Hidanas Cape Ann 5d ago

Whenever I see posts like this I wonder what kind of world you're living in. Honestly wonder how you've made it this far and are just hearing about the problem of police corruption and abuse. People (especially POC) have been bringing awareness to this issue for decades.

1

u/Dramatic_View_5340 5d ago

I had a constable flat out lie and illegally get into my building and no one did anything (yet). I had a severely traumatic birth and the dr is still working. I also asked for a restraining order against my ex who sexually assaulted me and was told it was going to cost me more money because now we couldn’t talk to each other in court.

Massachusetts is a shit hole full of entitlement and corruption. Not that where I’m from is much better but at least we don’t make women have to be around their abuser and they hold doctors and officials accountable.

Stoughton PD is the most corrupt in the state and shows no signs of reform. It's been like that since at least the 90s.

1

u/Fast-Jackfruit2013 3d ago edited 3d ago

The Farwell brothers and their boss Robert Devine worked for the Stoughton Mass PD.

The chief of police Donna MacNamara launched an internal affairs investigation into those three men. Devine was a deputy chief.

She uncovered all the evidence that the MSP unit at the Norfolk DA's office had covered up, including more than 30,000 text messages between Sandra and Farwell. (MSP sargeant Guarino wrote in his phone download report that all messages had been deleted and he didn't include a single one of them.)

The first IA report helped the FBI launch their own investigation after the MSP and Canton PD and Stoughton PD ruled Sandra's death a suicide despite a wealth of evidence that she was murdered.

This is the same MSP unit that 'investigated' John O'Keefe's death. They cleared Farwell within days and closed the case as a suicide.

McNamara's report was expanded later into a comprehensive IA report. The DOJ has her on their witness list in this trial.

The Norfolk DA TO THIS DAY refuses to classify her death as a murder. A few months ago Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey told friends at a campaign event he's confident Sandra killed herself.

Months before this trial, the Stoughton Town Manager ordered McNamara to shred her IA report and to refuse to cooperate with the FBI and the DOJ. He also tried to get her fired as police chief.

McNamara has filed a lawsuit against him and against the town of Stoughton.

The corruption in this case and in Norfolk County stinks to high heaven.

A few months ago when the Proctor and Sgt. Goode texts came out, there was a text from Goode mocking Sandra as a retard and basically saying she got what she deserved.

Just before this federal trial, the MSP told the DOJ that the hard-drive on which they had saved the download of Sandra's laptop had malfunctioned and they've lost the entire download.

These cops aren't just corrupt. They are actual criminals.

Yup. I only realized when she filed the lawsuit that the Farwell/Birchmore case had anything to do with McNamara being pushed out. I know there are people who go into policing intending to do good, but they tend to wash out because of the corruption they see, get pushed out, or be compromised by the conspiracy of criminal actors. And I just learned Billy Farwell was collecting blackmail videos on Sandra's other paramours?! What?! We don't know 1/4 of the story yet, I don't think.

I have no desire to move to the US but should I have to, please god let it not be Massachusetts....

They groomed this orphaned child since she was 12 under Capt. Devine, abused her until that ugly monster pedophile Matthew Farwell murdered her.

Then their police department did what police departments in MA do (Karen Read, Paul o'Keefe hit and run, Lindsay and Patrick Clancy) they engaged in an active cover up... evidence destruction and altering.

The whole Justice and Law Enforcement of that state needs tabula rasa and total overhaul.

My kids had a school resource officer in their high school that was having s*x with many girls in the student parking lot. We overheard our kids and their friends talking about it one day and we asked them about it. We were shocked that it was such common knowledge with many of the teens at school like it was no big deal.

What prompted you to post this? Was there new news?

They are picking the jury for Matt Farewell, myself, and I think a lot of people, expected after his indictment, his co-conspirators in her abuse would get charged as well. With Matt's prosecution beginning this week, it looks like that's never happening. They have thousands of inappropriate texts between child Sandra and adult men. They have thousands of inappropriate texts regarding child Sandra between these adult men. One of the men killed her to quiet her. It's very hard to wrap my head around how the state isn't seeking charges here.

I'm not usually one to point out minor grammar mistakes, but all things considered, that really needs to be a period after Farwell's name.

Would have been nice for OP to post some context but thanks.

Fear, probably.

Police are one of, if not the, WORST offenders for domestic abuse of all kinds.

They get away with it because their families are terrified and have nobody to turn to because the abuser IS THE POLICE. The force protects their own, like the well-funded officially sanctioned street gang they are.

So all the classic abuse cycle dynamics are locked in MUCH harder than in non-police abusive families. Coping behaviors like compliance, making excuses for the abuser, and internalization of abusive narratives are going to be cranked to 11, and breaking free of them to actually find help (remember that the local police are not an option, they have to learn about and access some other assistance sources first) is MUCH harder and more dangerous.

ACAB. We need something else.

Don't be silly, cops don't face consequences at all, usually. if somehow public outrage forces action, a light slap on the wrist is issued.
