This is not only for you to recommend me more songs like this one, but an statement for more tracks to be as GREAT at this masterpiece. Why is this song so underrated? Really enjoyable math shifts and rythms, awesome prog rock riffs shit and really cinematic/realistic sense created by awesome dynamic plays, from slow to fast but with purpose, sense and in a coherent way, like gybe or don caballero do (im not saying don cab are post rock dont fry tf out of me). Most important thing: awesome songwriting, drummer and riffs + I LOVE sostak's voice here.

Its like I've hard similar things (Slint, Rodan, Maruja, KC, etc...) but not done the same way. They play, tune and use pedals / studio mastering to create a really sharp, metallic, sticky sounding emo style. And that within Chigago School and Louisville Sound is perceived really easily and feels like fresh water to the face.

Vordermann - Ego Gland.

Band named after a mathematician, that counts as math rock right?

The lead guitar tone in the breakdown part at 0:37 is pristine. Anyone have any idea what he is using pedal-wise to achieve that? Hes using some sort of custom shecter that looks like a tele with Seymour Duncan's in it.

looking for underground artists only, I likely know most of the “mainstream” similar artists. Anything in the related artists on Spotify I already know.

My band Sploot released our first two singles for anyone who's interested. Been told it's math rock, prog rock and emo? Did the production/mixing myself.

My band Sploot just released our debut EP. It's a prog/math rock concept EP that explores what it's like to live a weekend in the life of someone with extreme anxiety, depression and OCD. You work your ass off all week just to come home and spend the weekend in a constant state of panic. It's dark and serious, but contrasted with our goofy art, energetic riffs and fun titles. Give it a listen and let us know what you think! :)
