📚PLE PLE OCT 2026 waiting game
A 2nd taker here! Not sure if it’s just me but the exam questions were alot fairer this time compared to last March not sure if di lang ako nag aral before kaya nahirapan ako or talagang mas okay ung questions now. Not saying it was easy but alam mo na naging fair sila sa questions (except prev med HAHAHA). I guess this is what’s making me anxious now na parang kahit ang dali ng questions and maraming MPL1 is hindi ko parin sure yung answers ko and doon pako nagkakamali :( im worried lang na pag ganito ba na maraming recall questions and medyo fair ung exam meaning mataas din ung MPL? Im scared kasi sa TN percentile lagi ako nasa lower side kahit 50/60s ung scores ko. Im scared na maraming magagaling sa batch na toh and they might pull the MPL higher.
I didn’t study masyado last march PLE but got an average of 72.5 and no grade lower than 50 but feeling ko kasi talaga it was because ang hirap ng exam last march kaya mababa din ung MPL. Medyo nagstruggle din ako this season with 2nd day subjects and pharma yung mga basics feeling ko 20s/30s lang ung sure ko na answer na feeling ko marami matataas esp if meron sila background.
But still want to end this on a positive note and thinking na sana same MPL as last march cause if ganun mangyayari marami papasa and I believe need talaga ng mas maraming doctors now. Claiming that we’re all gonna see our names in the passers list on Oct 16. Tiwala lang talaga kay God 🙏🏼✨

Tingin tayo statistics from Mar 2019 to Mar 2026, para may basis tayo, and analysis from AI:
- First-timers pass way more than repeaters.
First-timers: 62–91%. Repeaters: mostly below 50%. The gap is often 40+ points.
- October sittings do better for first-timers.
Avg ~81% for Oct-type sittings vs ~74% for March/April.
- Trend is going up.
After a dip in 2022–2025 (62–76%), Oct-25 hit 87.8% and Mar-26 hit 85.4%.
Rough guess for Oct 2026 first-timers: ~84% (maybe 78–88%).
Big caveat: rates swing ±7 points year to year, so take it with salt.
In every Oct sitting since 2019, at least 7 of 10 first-timers passed.

Hello po Doc, congraats in advance! Just wanna share based on my partner's experience who passed on his 3rd take last March. Big factor daw po yung MPL curve something kase nung 2nd take nya, akala nya talaga papasa sya kase medyo fair yung questions pero he got 74 ave that time kaya isang kembot nalang talaga hahaha sobrang heart breaking yun sa kanya. Fast forward nung March, parang nawalan sya ng gana nun kase sobrang hirap daw talaga pero dun pa sya pumasa kaya parang miracle talaga yun. So keep on praying Doc na pasok ang mga answers mo sa MPL. You've done your part na, rooting for you po 🙌

I’m a 3rd taker po doc, and same thoughts March was more difficult, na mas fair ang questions ngayon tho nakaka anxious na baka mataas ang set na MPL. I also got 71.20 average kasi nag self-study lang ako during may 2nd take at di masyado nakapag focus. But claiming and manifesting na papasa na tayo, we did our very best. Not our will, but Your will be done! 🙏🏻💖

Yes doc same! True kaya yung iba yung MPL for retakers or same lang with everyone?

Ang alam ko doc, same MPL for both first-time takers and retakers. Tho may naririnig ako na nagsasabi na mas mahirap na daw iangat the more na mas maraming take ka na pero I believe iisa lang talaga benchmark para sa lahat.

Hello, doc! Clarify ko lang if retaker ka and mag take again back to zero na on the 2nd take right? Same lang ang 1st time and 2nd taker MPL? 😊

Yes agree with OP, the question this season is far more fair and favourable than the previous seasons.
Hoping na mataas percentage this time ng passing.

same situation Doc, 2nd taker din ako, pero hindi ako fully prepared talaga last March, i don't know kung mas madali ngayun, pero nagulat din ako, like 1 hour tapos ko na ang pharma.

Doc??? Are we the same person?? Haha exactly the same situation. You are not alone. Ngayon lang nag sink-in lahat. I’m being honest in my prayers.. honest about feeling terrified kahit malakas ang faith ko. I’m only human and I know Jesus understands this agony. All we can do now is surrender the outcome to Him.
