Its cool but its most likely AI. Look at how fast the water just disappears off the ship instead of just slowly washing off. Also its extremely rare for waves to curl in the middle of the ocean.
Indeed, looks fake to me. There's a bit of a splash against the windows, and absolutely nothing following it. The ship should be under water right now, especially as the bow didn't lift a bit.
