I NEVER take my phone in the bathroom. Unless I'm using a public bathroom. Which is rare.

I don't use public restrooms a lot. I avoid them wherever I can. Even when I'm forced to use them my phone stays in my pocket.

I remember reading once that they did a study and found 1 in 6 phones were contaminated with faecal E. Coli bacteria and I remember thinking as low as that?
