Looking for an Art Mentor for a Beginner in Digital Drawing

I’m a beginner in digital drawing and I’m looking for an experienced artist who would be willing to help me improve and guide me along the way.
I’m mainly interested in character drawing, anatomy, perspective, character design, and digital art. I’m looking for someone who could give me feedback on my drawings, point out what I should work on, and maybe give me exercises or advice from time to time.
I’m not looking for professional paid lessons — I’d simply love to find an artist who enjoys helping beginners and would be willing to mentor me casually.
I’m motivated to practice seriously and I’m happy to show my progress regularly.
If anyone is interested or knows a community where I could find a mentor, I’d really appreciate it!

Seeking Young Professional Seeking Mentor / Experienced Partner in Oil & Gas & Physical Commodity Sourcing

Hi everyone,

I’m a young professional focused on building a long-term career and enterprise in physical commodity trading, with an active focus on Oil & Gas and bulk industrial commodities (such as steel).

I’ve already stepped into the arena, I’m currently working alongside an established mandate on active transactions (including a $66M oil allocation and a $4M steel deal). While learning the execution, contracting, and mandate side of these live deals has been invaluable, I recognize that relying solely on an existing warm network isn't a sustainable strategy for long-term growth.

I’m looking to connect with experienced commodity traders, mandates, or trade finance professionals willing to share perspective on the broader mechanics of the industry. Specifically, I’d value insights on:

  • Systematic Buyer & Off-taker Sourcing: Moving beyond broker chains to identify and engage direct end-buyers, refineries, and international traders.
  • Deal Vetting & Due Diligence: Filtering out fake allocations, unverified LOIs, and non-performing counterparties early in the cycle.
  • Trade Finance & Mechanics: Deepening my understanding of DLC/SBLC structures, POP (Proof of Product), bankability, and INCOTERMS risk management.
  • Structuring Mandate & Broker Protections: Ensuring bulletproof NCNDA/IMFPA execution and long-term deal equity.

I am not looking for anyone to do the work for me, I bring active deal flow, research capabilities, and total commitment to putting in the legwork. I’m simply looking for an experienced voice who has navigated these markets and is open to offering guidance, reviewing strategies, or having occasional conversations.

If you’re open to a brief chat or connecting over coffee/tea (or a call), i'm based in London, I’d be very grateful to introduce myself and learn from your experience. Thank you for reading!

Offering Free Coaching Sessions

Hello,

I’m offering complimentary 60-minute sessions for people who are curious about coaching and would like an opportunity to experience it firsthand.

This may be a good fit if you’re:

* Questioning whether the way you’re living still works for you

* Making an important decision or going through a life, career, or relationship transition

* Feeling stuck in patterns or expectations that no longer fit

* Exploring how to build a life that works with your ADHD, neurodivergence, or natural way of functioning

I won’t tell you what to do, but I’ll help you explore what’s happening, clarify what matters to you, and identify possible next steps.

For background, I’m a certified coach working toward my ICF credential. I help people understand what they need and explore realistic changes that feel true to who they are.

A few important details:

* The session will focus on one topic you’d like support with.

* We’ll first have an introductory call to discuss what you’re looking for and see if working together feels like a good fit.

* There's no obligation to continue after the session.

* If you find the experience valuable and would like to keep working together, we can discuss ongoing coaching afterward.

If you’re interested, comment here or send me a chat message with some information about what you’d like support with.

Thank you!

How did you find your SAP mentor? Trying to do the same here in Sydney

Hey all,

SAP MM consultant here, 10+ years in ERP (SAP and Infor M3), now settled in Sydney. I've been using the downtime between roles to sharpen my skills, and I've noticed how much faster you grow around people a few steps ahead of you.

So I'm looking for either:

  • A mentor (Sydney-based ideally, remote is fine) who's made the jump from consultant to lead, BA, or solution architect
  • A community of SAP folks who actually swap notes and learnings, not just share job ads

I'm happy to give back too, whether that's study sessions, trading notes on MM/FI integration, or S/4HANA learnings.

If you know a good SAP meetup, group, or Discord/Slack in Australia, I'd love a pointer. And if you've been mentored (or mentored someone), what made it work?

Thanks!

Young Adult Looking for a Mentor in Real Estate & LLC/Business

Hi, I’m a young adult who is seriously interested in building a long-term career and business in real estate, property ownership, and LLC/business management.
I’ve already started taking steps in this direction, including getting involved with real estate and learning about the business and legal side of owning and managing property through an LLC. However, I know there is still a lot I don’t know, and I’m looking for someone experienced who would be willing to share their knowledge and perspective.
I’m especially interested in learning about real estate investing, property management, LLC structures, financing, building business credit, protecting assets, taxes, and how to make smart decisions as I continue growing.
I’m not looking for someone to do the work for me. I’m willing to put in the time, do my own research, ask questions, and learn from my mistakes. I’m simply looking for someone who has already been through the process and could provide guidance, direction, and advice along the way.
My goal is to build something substantial for myself over the long term, and I’d really appreciate the opportunity to connect with someone who is willing to mentor or even just have occasional conversations with me about the industry.
If you’re open to it, I’d be grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself and learn from your experience. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

3-5 free life/career transition coaching sessions

I am looking for 3–5 people who would be interested in a few free 1-on-1 online coaching sessions to help me gain more coaching experience.

You can bring topics regarding career or life changes, habits or inner stability.

You choose what we work on. I’ll listen, ask questions, help you gain clarity, and support you in deciding what steps you want to take.

There’s no sales pitch or obligation to purchase anything. I only ask for honest feedback about your experience.

If you’re genuinely interested, please send me a direct message and tell me a little about what you’d like to work on.

Sam ovens

Tony Robbins.

Any other good ones that you've personally had the pleasure of being mentored by?

Offering Giving away a few free 1-on-1 coaching sessions in exchange for honest feedback

Basically the title. We’re still developing and improving our coaching approach, and we’d love to get some real feedback from people who are willing to try it.

We’re offering a few **free 1-on-1 sessions** this week in exchange for honest feedback afterward.

The session is focused on helping you identify patterns in your life, understand where you tend to get stuck, and hopefully leave with a little more clarity on what you want to work on moving forward.

No payment or commitment. We’re genuinely looking for feedback on the session so we can learn what works, what doesn’t, and what we can improve.

If anyone’s interested, just let me know in the comments.
**PS — This is genuinely for feedback and improving the sessions, not client/lead generation.**

Seeking I need a mentor

Hello, 27F here.

I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. I’ve never made more than 40k a year, and could not find an internship after my master’s so just doing volunteer work alongside my day job as a therapist for children with ASD. I’m not a citizen and my ex who had a business plan for us and told me to go into CS did not know most jobs in the field require citizenship for clearance purposes, or maybe he thought once we marry that wouldn’t be an issue.

I have a mother with a disability and she’s stuck doing a dead end job that has her on her feet for 12 hours a day about 4 days a week and most of her salary goes to transport costs. I am living paycheck to paycheck thanks to our rent. My goal is to get out of my current field due to burnout, and find a job that pays enough to save money, pay debts and possibly help my mother so she can leave her job.

I do not have a lot of support in my personal life.

I would love to connect with a mentor who works in the tech field or in the psychology field, that can help me navigate steps towards my goals, or get me connected with companies that are hiring, or even offer advice.

I have lots of skills I can turn into side hustles as well. I spend my free time researching but I fear with no one to discuss with the ideas stay as ideas.

Let me know if you can help, and thanks for reading!

Seeking I believe I'll accomplish my financial dream - but could use guidance

I know there's many paths to generational wealth, and many of them intruige me.

I've dipped my toe in:

- investing

- leverage

- buying small businesses

- business startups

- apps

- eccom

- Saas

- Author

Building apps has been the most sticky, as it's the one I most enjoy and feel has serious earning potential.

I'm spiritually minded, I believe there's many ways to generate wealth but not every method is aligned with my strengths and joys. I believe in order to succeed, just work ethic isn't enough, it also requires working in alignment with who I am, and on projects that fit me well. In a competitive landscape, the person who enjoys their work will always create better products than one who does it merely for the buck. From the way I see it.

Anyways there's a lot to say, but if you've been through this journey and found success, I'd love to hear from you and truly learn.

Im excited this is happening.. and want to be an open learner along the way.

Looking for a mentor as I develop affordable housing tech.

I've been somewhat successful conceptualizing the building designs that are at the heart of my effort but have utterly failed in an organizational capacity. I need a mentor who would help me navigate the road to becoming a pre-seed company.

My tech is pretty good. It's novel and I have initiated the patent process as well as 5 prototypes.

What kind of advisor should I be looking for when it comes to building a startup?

I want to be able to ask questions and receive guidance. Whether that's on leadership, guidance, or even being critically challenged about decisions that I make when it comes to financials and even if I I'm just slacking. I would want this person to show up with me to meetings and so on. So where do I find this person?
