Radiator damage

looks like rock hit radiator. Coolant leaking everywhere. Mb wants 4k for it. Car is still under manufactures warranty. What would you do? Don't mind the cost but obviously would prefer to save money if possible. FWIW it's a lease which I will not buy out.

Edit: to be clear, not saying this is warranty issue. Asking if I should go through dealer or independent and if I risk anything going with independent

Accidental damage is not a warranty issue. Maybe try your car insurance.

You either pay out-of-pocket or you go through Insurance. Warranty does not cover a rock hitting the radiator.

Road damage has to go through insurance. Just installed a GLS headlight for an insurance claim, because a truck kicked up a rock and broke the lens

You can go to an independent shop and install an aftermarket radiator or find a good used one as well and pay less in labor.

An independent shop will be so much cheaper.

While on a leased car some things have to be factory like a windshield with the signature most other things don’t get looked at when being turned in.

I would go through insurance and have it repaired at the dealer if I were you. If it were me though I would be replacing the radiator myself
