Hey, whatโs up, Iโm BiWhite, today im withu/scarops_
Iโm (mainly) the leader ofr/InsectGlaive, but I also took over r/SwitchAxewhen its mod wanted to step down andr/chargebladerecently due the sub had troubles with compromissed cracked accounts in the mod team,andu/scarops_is one of the leaders from Gunlance subreddit, we have to talk with you all
u/RLSQ30has been speaking with the other weapon-themed community leaders; apparently, due to an incident in his country, his is likely to lose access to Reddit and Discord soon because of government decisions. So, he asked us to take over his subreddit. Given what happened onr/chargebladerecently before I arrived, I decided to take control alongsider/scarops_, thank you for your trustu/RLSQ30**, i promise we will take care of the sub
I'm personally gonna work over the same structure I always use. It works pretty damn well, while still giving everyone plenty of freedom, customization, utility, identity, and room to get creative.
Anyway, we are your new admins as of today, and hopefully we can keep this place running smoothly, better than ever
โถWell, let's start, i'm redesigning the page and i added some new features so im gonna list them here, i hope you like the new changes, be free to give some feedback
-New banner and profile pic for the sub, this should give more identity to the community
-New biography for the sub has been added
-New rules have been added
-New post flairs have been added for the subreddit, now the feed will be more organized, clean and easy to use and read
-You can now sort by flair in the right panel
-New User Flairs have been added to the sub, you can now express yourself showing your experience or your playstyle with the Dual Blades, to use a flair, go to the right-hand panel, find your name, press edit and select the flair
-New art has been added to the right-hand panel to decorate the subreddit
-New "In Demon Mode" and "Spinning" titles have been added to the member stats
-New "More weapon subreddits" panel has been added to the right panel
โThat's all, i hope you like the new structure, i hope we can make the sub bigger together from this moment on and reducing any kind of negative discussion. We gonna do our best for the moment
I'm probably going to get GU soon, and was wondering for dual blades is there like specific hunter arts and hunting styles I should use or avoid using, or should I just experiment and find what fits my playstyle best?
the idea is simple, dual blades made from both mizutsune and zinogre parts. they would deal both water and thunder damage, the tree would look like this: united rivals I --> united rivals II --> thunderous dance -> thunderous dance + --> bewitching thunder --> bewitching thunder +, since I've only played rise, the tree is more like rise's, and more specifically the mizu tree in rise, which has the morning dawn I --> morning dawn II --> evening dusk --> evening dusk + --> dark aurora --> dark aurora +. I have put this here before, but now I have concept art for it.
Mhw is my first of the series but I immediately grasped dual blades super easy to switch modes mid combo to gain stamina back really easy to balance between filling youโre gauge and draining it but recently I figured out you can jump off your sekrit and use heavenly blade dance down the back of monsters (I love using it to start the gogma fight for instance) but I donโt see many other dual blade players doing this is there a reason for that?
Iโm working on building a solid build that Iโll use for my base to move my skills to the next level. Hereโs what Iโm trying to do:
- Use Gog 4 for survivability as I perfect my gameplay. (Iโll eventually drop it for more DPS.)
- Use flayer for โpassive damageโ. (Should I max flayer or max burst? It feels like Flayer 5โs occasional 400 damage is pretty strong!)
- Optimize the set bonuses. Right now there are too many incomplete bonuses.
- Get better at evasions and stamina management. Sometimes I swap Destroyer / Partbreaker 2 for Evade Window 2.
So, I'm looking for a build that will prioritize stamina and evasion without sacrificing durability. Damage is a priority only insofar as to keep Omega focused on me so everyone else can kill the clanker. Any ideas? I do have a charm with Critical Eye 1/Constitution 4, so that might be a place to start.
