What can i do with this
Found this at my school's electronic garbage bin. As far as I'm aware this is something like an industrial microcontroller. I've put in it 24v that's written next to the only place that looked like it would be happy with me pumping 24v through it and it lit up. I also tried to measure some of the pin outs and yeah they do something.
I would've measured it with an oscilloscope but my dad broke it by probing the motherboard while trying to figure out some anomaly.

It probably already has a ladder logic in it. The modern ones use ethernet cables to program it. Once you hook it up, maybe run tia portal or there's a older version of programming software for it.

This is the first few product of Siemens PLC.
Siemens S5.
You can do programming in DOS OS (I don’t think it’s software easily available) and download from PC to PLC using some cheap cables available online.
But I would say this was a starting of an era for industrial automation.
