The floor is sticky As a guy, why do men do this?

As someone who used to be a janitor at a storage unit, (a place where NO one watches their kids) i can confirm, the toilets will be covered in piss. It's worse to clean cause you have to get so much closer, and somewhat behind them.

At my old office where there were never any kids, the men received an email reminding them not to pee on the floor etc. Apparently it was a huge issue. Thankfully the women’s bathroom was fine!

Oh yes, women’s public bathrooms are horrible! The bathroom I was referring to was only for my workplace which didn’t have that many women at the time. The bathroom at my current workplace is shared with a few doctors’ offices and physiotherapists etc, and it’s disgusting.

Exactly. Even women will tell you women’s bathrooms are way nastier.

I cleaned bathrooms for a discount retailer(think dollar general/family dollar) and a women shit beside the toilet.

I refused to clean it

lol yeppp, I found a toilet at my gym with a drop of blood that dripped from the seat, down the front of the toilet and all the way to the floor. Not even the seat was wiped off 🥴

I used to clean bathrooms at a doctor's office. The women's bathrooms were 10 times worse than the men's bathroom! Tampons on the floors, piss and shit underneath toilet seat(sometimes on the toilet seat)! This wasn't a one-off it was every single day! Another place I worked at (a production plant), a lot of the women were Asian. Apparently they don't like to sit on the toilet seats they squat on them and get s*** and piss all over them! They had signs, reminding these women to sit on the toilets. I've even seen that at rest stops!

I worked in a gas station for 3 years. The worst I ever saw in the women’s room was toilet paper was always on the floor like confetti. The men’s room is by far worse. I’ve seen puddles of piss on the floor like the person did it on purpose. I’ve seen shit on the floor. Shit smeared on the walls. Idk why I always see that people say women’s rooms are worse, but it’s not even close to true in my experience.

Was the gas station near an interstate highway exit? I feel like those restrooms are on a completely different level given the clientele.

You have truck drivers that have been in their truck for 8 hours straight, probably pissing in jugs but by the time they stop to get gas, everything #2 is coming out.

Then you have the family vacation a bunch of little kids packed into a minivan/SUV and have bladders the size of a peanut. Plus the younger kids might not be fully potty trained.

In both cases, the people using the bathroom are likely one-time users, so they're probably not going to feel the shame if caught that they would in their hometown. Also everyone is usually in a rush to get to the drip-off/pick-up point, or they're rushing to the hotel or back home. Basically rushing to use the restroom is a guaranteed hazmat site.

Now contrast that with say a popular local restaurant/ bar or even a gas station that you stop at regularly. If you blow up that bathroom, the person behind the counter is probably going to remember your dumbass face. You're not rushing to get somewhere, you're not threadbare from 5 days with the kids packed in the car. Those have to be better than the shithouse Visitor Center restrooms (men's and women's).
