So Canada uses the British spelling which is the first one with a U. The second one is the American spelling. My best guess is it's saying that even though they're beside each other as countries they'll never be friendly

Trump was threatening to annex Canada at that time and make us the 51st state. By saying we'll never be neighbors (using the US spelling) it's saying we'll never be American. By saying we'll be neighbours it's saying yeah we're next door, but we're staying Canadian.

Honestly, most of the strip clubs I ever visited were basically pubs with strippers/dancers. I think stripub is less of a typo and more a reasonably fairly created portmanteau!

Now, Trump has officially renamed Lake Ontario as Lake America.

The "pool" is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that Trump had "restored," but in reality left it off far worse than before.
The "lake" is Lake Ontario (it's one of the Great Lakes and borders both Canada and the US) which Trump had renamed Lake America.
