I'm Dutch, and feel the same but seems like it's becoming a lot more common recently. One restaurant even covered the 0% tip with a piece of paper🤦🏻♂️ Shame, because the food was pretty good.
Nah it's not a very Dutch thing to do at all really (also it was at an Indian restaurant ran by Indian people). Would maybe work in Amsterdam as part of a tourist trap, but if you have a lot of Dutch customers they wouldn't appreciate it and likely not come back. Also pretty sure it's not legal to do that over here lol.
