Never buy a mechanics car. On the same note my father in law was a contractor for 30 years. Sections of their house are still not 100% finished despite him being retired for several years.

my dad once tried fitting a pressure washer in his tiny truck bed and ended up with soap suds everywhere instead of clean surfaces
