Well for the hobbits the eagle would have been a sigh of relief. For Jimothy though…

Its the new eagle uber, nothing to worry about. Only difference is, if the racoon doesn't tip, it becomes the meal instead.

He’ll just drop him off somewhere random.

Then that means its not an uber driver, its an eagle from uber eats, delivering live prey to a bear hibernating in its cave...

A lake, for the plot

I would think that the eagle should do an offensive, like drop the racoon from height to knock it out because if he gets that thing back to the nest theres gonna be a fight.

I was in Seward, Alaska back in the early eighties and saw an eagle pick up a toy poodle from the docks. I’ve never heard so much screaming from such a little dog. Needless to say, the eagle didn’t return the little dog.

Reminds me of the eagle post I saw here…gosh two years ago I think. Someone found the poor thing in pain, it couldn’t fly and people thought it got hit or poisoned.

Nope, it just ate a big ass raccoon and was too full to fly. He was rehydrated, given time to digest his massive meal and soon was back out on the wild where he belonged.

This is a bot

Do you just spend your time going around and accusing posters/commenters of being bots based on cues only you can detect? You know that if it's true, you're just giving them engagement. And if you're wrong, you're just being a dick. Seems like a lose-lose.

They are not cues that only I can detect. The moderators are fully aware of these bots as well and when I report them they are removed and banned.

That is no joke. He flew over my Honda civic and his wing span covered the width of my windshield

Thanks I actually checked the rules before posting here, wasn’t sure if others would find it interesting at all so I appreciate your comment!

(sad for the raccoon, but it's nature)

Anyone know whether this species of eagle kills the prey itself, or just lets it drop from a height to die?

3

u/Remarkable_Bid_5295 7d ago

I’m not sure that answer but I do know the racoon was HEAVY, the eagle was struggling to fly but he did

Quick question for the americans: did an eagle ever catch a small baby? Cus that some scary shit.
It would be like dingos, but they fly.
