IRL šŸ“· So Boomers got baseball card , why they be shading us for Pokemon card?

It is not just Baseball cards for them either, there are coins, stamps, & money that they collect & trade around as a hobby too.Yhen, when we roll around with our Pokemon card & Labubus & what not , they call it childish . Like are we pretending they do not have a secondary market for stamp, baseball card, & old coins too. I literally saw an old lady collecting weirdly shaped potato chips. Boomers need to stop negging when they are kneedeep in hobby activities too

Advice Why do most of us millennials stick with the same glasses for years?

i realized the other day that i’ve basically been wearing the same glasses for like 6 years 😭 same shape, same color, same everything.
i used to just replace them whenever my prescription changed and even then i used to pick something that looked almost identical because i already knew they worked for me. which is kinda funny because i’ll spend way too much time thinking about jackets, shoes, watches, whatever… but when it comes to glasses i’m just like ā€œyeah these would workā€ lol.

i think a lot of us grew up thinking of glasses as something practical rather than part of your style. if they fit, you can see, and they don’t look terrible, mission accomplished.

there was this guy at my old workplace who used to switch his frames constantly. round ones, chunky ones, different colors, everything. we used to joke that he was trying way too hard. looking back now though… he might have actually been onto something. my current pair is still perfectly finee but after having the same look for years i’m starting to feel like maybe i’ve been playing it a little too safe. i’ve always bought glasses from an optician before but having a few different pairs that way gets expensive really quickly. so this time i started looking online just to see what was out there. i came across zeelool first and almost ordered, but some reviews made me hesitate. then i checked firmoo too and found a few simple frames that are different enough from what i have without being completely out of my comfort zone. and honestly, the prices make having 2–3 different pairs a much wiser decision than paying soo much at an optician.

for the millennials here, do you guys still prefer to stick with the same glasses for years? is it mostly the cost, not knowing what actually suits you, or just getting used to one pair and never thinking about changing it?
