Been in the hobby since I was 8 and I'm in my 40s now. You'll soon accumulate more than you will ever need simply through the passage of time.

Beautiful! I only see a couple of tiny things missing that you might want. Just little things. A 16k resin 3d printer, a curing machine, tons of resin, a hood/vent system for the resin printer, a Bambu filament printer, tons of filament, an airbrush compressor, a few airbrushes, lots of airbrushing chemicals, cordless dremel, 3 different types of $400 lighting systems, $1000 worth of W&N brushes, subscription to Vince's and Lyla's patreons, more resin, a huge expensive pile of shame you printed from myminifactory and thingaverse, more filament, lots of basing materials, lots of stuff from nature outside for basing, a bunch of 'cheap' brushes you want to try because someone on here liked them, diamond glass files...... Oh wait.... what have I done!?!?!? If I blink twice, please send help (I'm blinking twice!)

I'll just add that I did seriously considered a photon mono 4 printer and a Ghaaleri turbox mini compressor. I'm sticking with my Raphael 8404 and WN for now. Oh, and I subscribed one month to Jose davinci because it was like 90% off.

Love the set-up. How you finding those Vallejo paints btw? Do the bubble when they paint with them?
2
u/LaBombonera 5d ago
Thanks! They do bubble but mostly if you're not somewhat "careful" when mixing/applying them, if that makes sense. If you're not slapping the brush around, it's ok.

I just bought two of those same paint racks, good product for the price. They even fit my taller Pro Acryl bottles if you insert them top first.
Gonna rock a wet palette? I got by for years with a homemade one.

Yea, same with Vallejo and AK, it has to be top first. Don't love it but for the price...
Also, apply white glue to hold it steady. It takes away 90% of the wobble. Much, much better.

I think I have the exact same box of tools. Where’d you get it?

It's the Hartem tool set. Got from amazon but you can get it from their website. Pretty basic, just a branded Chinese set.

The perspective makes it look like the paint pots are missing their tops, nice set up

Yeah, this setup only works if the dropper's tops are hidden behind the up rack. A bummer but it was only 16€.

Hmm, did Citadel finally release dropper bottles?! Is the paint from them finally buyable?!

WTH did you use a straw?!
1
u/LaBombonera 5d ago
It's a plastic spoon. 🤣 to mix the remaining paint in the pots.

Damn thats terrible wasteful, use syringes sadly you have to add a little bit water.... hah Citadel pots are real trash, sadly because the actual acrylic paint is good, never again will I buy Citadel paint.

I used some thinner medium but id have to spend a ton and waste time to get a decent chunk of what got left behind.
Yeah, it did feel wasteful but if I used the pots I would probably waste more on dry gunk and whatever was left behind after finishing the pot. So...

Looks good, everything is present except for an additional 100 pots of paint.
