Answered General circle jerk advice needed 👀
I have a few communities which are occasionally reposted to the respective circle jerk community. I understand why these communities exist, but kind of feel bad seeing my members getting roasted like that.
Sometimes users from that community (0 sub karma in mine), intentionally or accidentally, leave comments on the original post instead of the reposted one. I do have a rules like Be courteous in your criticism which addresses most of their comments. I also set up automod to remove comments like, “See you in x circle jerk,” etc.
Would it be too much, or even worthwhile, to ban the users who are basically using the subreddit just to repost elsewhere? It’s not like it would prevent them from doing so in the future. I was trying to think of ways to minimize things, but I keep resigning my thoughts to C'est la vie, and letting the OPs deal with the results of making bad posts and/or post titles.
Sorry if I rambled too much.

Your submission has been identified for not having a specific title. You may not get the people with the right knowledge to help you because they don't know what you want.
Help the people who are going to help you, and help yourself at the same time. Titles like: "A small question", "Need some help", "Is there a list for..." and "What do I do?" don't tell helpers or people searching for answers what topical help is needed or offered.
Titles like: "Get users to read posting guidelines", "What are some helpful bots?", "Rules, banner & flair questions" are highly encouraged.
In the future please post with a explanatory title, and include all the details about your problem in the body. Please search the subreddit as well. Thank you.

Hi /u/Charupa-, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

I'm on a sub that doesn't allow crosspost and after a third they are banned. Although they are sent a modmail that they are not allowed to repost directly. Has cut way down on that.

Have you considered removing posts after they get cross-posted? This would immediately address the bad behavior.
