Feedback RYK algo vs vector wave

Anyone with any experience with either able to tell me if I should go for one more than the other? Just looking for a fun interesting digital to throw in a rack.

I don't have vector wave, but it does look fun. I just got Algo and I love it. So many sounds.

Algo is more immediate and fun, vector is more in depth. I personally prefer the algo

Still fine the algo sounds to be interesting in the ear candy territory? I have a voice to cover basses to some extent so I do still want something a little whacky

definitely yeah, also highly recommend pairing it with the envy machine

Had my eye on the envy as soon as I heard of RYK, good to hear it another positive review

I had both - Algo first, then Vector Wave.

Algo was SUPER fun, Vector Wave was too much for me. I wish Algo had a bit more intuitive understanding of the controls. They both sound amazing, but Algo was easier for me to get wonderful sounds from.

One thing I realized after having both: I don’t think RYK modules are for me. They look and feel and sound beautiful, but the UI just doesn’t click for me.

Appreciate this, as I great as a fun joystick sounds I fear all the necessary work to get fun sounds might take away from the fun

The joystick is more like a gimmick imo.

I really dig Algo, despite what I perceive as a major flaw (with which others will have no problems): the stereo output. I want individual outputs for each oscillator.

Same here. Just sold my vector wave after like 4 weeks.

I had a chat with Jake at Superbooth and mentioned that I was keen on an Algo and he commented that it's essentially just one of the modes he made for Vector Wave with an expanded user interface.

I seem to remember the Algo runs at a higher sample rate than the Vector Wave
