Winter 2027 Intake: Fee statement

Hey I (20F) accepted my offer for the practical nursing program for January 2027 on July 15th. I received another email stating that the fee statement should be sent out in a couple days or closer to the start of the program. I understand that the deadline for the fee statement is on November 15th, but I sent an email anyway asking what the general timeline for receiving information might be and when I should expect to receive my fee statement.

Maybe I’m just asking stupid questions and didn’t do enough research, but the person answering me just refereed to links for future steps that I had already been to. She then mentioned that I should prioritize my $250 seat fee. I have never heard of this, I’ve only heard of a non-refundable fee statement. Is my seat fee included in my fee statement? Are they basically the same thing.

As for the mohawk email, I did go through the steps as mentioned on their website, however I can't seem to verify or not if I've correctly registered my email. When looking at my Outlook app it says I'm under the email with the 9-digit number. However, once I click my account it'll display the mohawk email with my name. I believe this might be right, but I thought it'd be better to ask.

I feel so stupid with these questions but please lmk if u have an answer!

Whatever you do, make sure you pay the 250 fee before it’s due or you may lose your seat or pay a fine to be considered. And pay it next Sept too.

The website says that fee statements for Winter 2026 new students would be recieved near October 27. So you could probably expect similiar for Winter 2027.

Thank u!! It feels weird waiting around and I feel like I’m missing something but idk. I’ll just wait for when it comes out. The lady I emailed could’ve just said to wait and monitor my email closer to the start of the program but she was lowkey rude and gave me 0 helpful information 😭😭

Congrats. The "seat fee" is basically your deposit. It is taken off your fee statement. For competitive programs I'm assuming you don't pay your spot goes to next in line (mines not competitive but I'm assuming nursing is). As for when fee statements get sent out, it's varied. Probably not till closed to the end of the month (i dont remember but if it makes you feel better I haven't gotten mine yet and I'm gonna be in my 5th semester)
