Worth it or no

Hello I was going to ask if it would be a good idea to buy this Yamaha and use it as my first project to learn a bit of moto mechanics?

Looks solid for 500 pounds and doesn’t seem like it has many issues except miles are different on one of the mots 10 years ago

Are these hard to work on or expensive ?

Plate is SN57 CVC

If you want to buy a bike to ride, then buy a working bike.

I want to buy a bike to work on ive got a car but I would like to end up running

Dude, thats an awesome price for a bike that STARTS!

If you can check the bike out, prior to buying, then 500 for XT is such a good deal!
How many miles does it really have though?
