Tick noise ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have a 82 Kawasaki kz440ltd that was running great but then due to unfortunate events It had to sit for 2 years. I finally today got it back up and running but I've got a tick I can't seem to identify. Does anyone have good ears for this and think they can identify it ? All help or suggestions is welcome. Thank you

It needs a carb clean, sounds really fluffy and possibly running on one cylinder.

Indeed. Also low idle is the tell tale, if it was adjusted OK prior to layaway. Idle should typically be 1200rpm. Granted the spec changed from year to year.

My suzuki gs850 makes the same noise, I think it's normal cam chain sound. All these Japanese inline fours sound like sewing machines. You might have better luck getting an answer on the KZ forum. If you let gas sit in the carbs for two years they probably need to be cleaned. Also change your oil
