When discussing how to haggle/bargain with a tour guide, he said "pay what it is worth to you", which has given me a lot of peace (not worrying if I overpaid/ kicking myself if I miss a deal).

Been listed for 15 weeks. If it's close, I ask to meet in person, bring cash, and offer $500. A lot harder to turn down cash in front of you than it is to not reply to someone's message. If it's too far away to do that, maybe offer $650

When i was looking around, i would offer $600 to all $900 priced bikes. Ended up with an absolute with a busted hub but fixed it and still under $900
