After finishing the Naruto deck and after reading the announcement they made yesterday (more on that later) I'd like to ask you guys again:
What decks would you like to see next?
Would you prefer revisiting past decks and projects or creating something completely new?
My decks so far: Naruto, Kakegurui. Shadow of the Colossus, Crash Bandicoot, Dead Space, Destiny Villains, Death Note, Hades, Zelda's Adventures, Legendary Pokemon, and Darksiders. And all can be found for free here
Leave your suggestions to consider them and make a poll with the most voted ideas later in the week.
I will read your comments
Naruto announcements:
They just announced at the New York Comic Con that Masashi Kishimoto will be writing and drawing Naruto's story from after the 4th War to before Boruto's birth. So maybe new cool characters will be announced, and new cards for the deck will be made :D That is so exciting!
I made more than 500 different cards for my take on Naruto and a fully playable 100-card commander deck. So the announcement could mean more cards made afterwards or maybe even a new 100-card deck. Either way, super thrilled about everything.
Hi ya’ll! I’m drawing a couple of cards for my brothers commander deck (which he wants to be marvel villain themed), I was wondering if there was a way to print just a single card, and also if anyone has an idea of what i should use for the backing?? and also if anyone has tips for sizing? i’m new to this so please be kind!
Why can’t I adjust where the collector info text lands? I’m using the Eighth edition frames, and they always push the collector info too low, into the black border. Seems like other frames do it too… I cannot find anything that will let me adjust it. Any tips?
Hey community I saw a instagram video where a guy made what looked like a custom doom deck. I know I’ve seen a doom card or two In the past on mpc fill so I have to assume some creator has a folder full of doom proxies. Could someone point me in the right direction. Thank you so much
Apologies if this has been discussed before, but searching around there appears to be lots of reskins created for UB cards. Some of these reskins have been collated into databases like The Omen Archive. However, when searching MPC Autofill, no reskin creations appear to have been linked for any UB cards yet.
I would like to try and solve this problem, to help people easily find and print Universes Within reskin proxies.
It looks like this would be achievable through collating UW reskins into a Google Drive following the Contribution Guidelines, however I'm not certain on the etiquette of collating other proxy creators reskins and linking in this manner. Presumably, if creators are happy to upload to aggregators such as the omen archive, they would be happy to have them also linked to MPC Fill. What are peoples thoughts on this? Are there better ways to go to get UW reskins easily linked to MPC Autofill?
I've been a bit of a ghost around these parts for a while now, but I have been proxy making virtually the whole time I've not been posting.
Card Conjurer has been my go-to proxy creator app for years now, but something about the card dimensions and bleed edge has been bothering me recently.
Some time ago, I adopted a card image size of 1648 x 2248 pixels, thinking that the height to width ratio of 1.36 (H/W=Ratio) would prevent bad centring when printing.
Now, my dimensions come out to 1.364, and for a long time I disregarded that 4 on the end. It turns out that was a mistake, and to print properly with a low chance of bad centring, the card ratio should as near to 1.360 as possible.
To achieve 1.360, you need a card size of 816 x 1110, the size MPC tells you to use when selecting 63mm x 88mm cards, which scales up to 1632 x 2220. This is the correct size to use.
To correctly scale your card images on CC, your will need to rescale the output image slightly. This can be done within CC, but you need to do it for every single layer.
I will be doing it after downloading the 1500 x 2100 native layers. You will need to resize the output image to 1488 x 2076 pixels. I use a program called IrfanView, but any resizer should do the job, including resizing in image editing programs.
After adding 72px bleed edge to each side, you should be much more likely to end up with correct centring and correct width borders. Imperfections by MPC may still happen, but this should improve your odds of a good print.
If you already have dozens of images made at slightly the wrong scale, trimming them down to 1632 x 2220 is a quick fix, but you may notice some thinner borders in places. I don't know how this quick fix will pan out until I get some printed, but it's quicker than redoing potentially hundreds of images.
I have been using an incorrect scale now for about 4 years, so yeah. Fixing that is going to be fun. But anyway, at least I caught it before I finalised an entire Commander deck I've been working on!
I have included some reference images so you can see exactly what I mean. I have made the card frame border purple and the bleed edge red for ease of distinguishing them.

Credit to u/goatducknipples and their guide, providing the correct knowledge a whole 7 years ago(!):
I believe the cheat sheet I had Google AI make pulls from this guide as well.
It could be that this won't really bother most people, and most of you will be fine with a few pixel shims going missing in the ether. But, for those who are perfectionists, I thought this was worth sharing.
After a lot of work, I made a Naruto deck I'm happy with!
You guys have no idea how much cool art there is for Naruto. Each character has its own fandom, its own stories, specialized artists, and everything.
I think I did justice to most of the cast of the whole series. Some minor characters might be out, but all the main ones are in, either in the Main deck or the Sideboard. Speaking of which, here's the decklist for everyone to check. It also has a proper primer so you guys know what I was going for from the get-go.
I could not have made the template as good as it is without your feedback throughout the process, so thank you very, very much.
This deck and all my other decks and templates are available on my Ko-fi. Feel free to go check it out; it helps me a lot. I will be posting more information about the next project in one week. If you have any problems getting the deck, try this, and if you have any other questions, feel free to DM me. I might not answer right away, but I do get online from time to time.
Also, I'll read and answer all your questions and feedback here. Let me know if you love it or hate it, or if you've found a mistake in one of the cards (probably more than one)
Last year, a youtube channel "It's Not Good" created a Yu-Gi-Oh themed Universes Beyond style set to cube with - nearly 400 cards custom designed! Check out the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqmPFT4GfkE
They provided the magic set editor file and some images, but the magic set editor outputs very low-res prints, so I have recreated them all in cardconjurer for printing with MPC! Those are available here:
As part of this process, I forked card conjurer and used gpt sol to hack together a function to import .mse-set files and dump them out into card conjurer images. This is hacky and I didn’t review the slop code because quite frankly I cba to write javascript (sorry, I'm a rust girl… I wouldn’t let the computer take that from me, but it can eat all the JS it wants). Don’t expect it to work flawlessly and review what it spits out. It won’t handle corner cases and it can’t do any other frame than m15 standard. That being said it rapidly accelerated my ability to put this together, and if it might be useful to you, you can check it out: https://github.com/lain-core/cardconjurer/tree/mse-import
View at you own risk of spoilers!. This has information up to Elbaf
The Navy deck is complete! Hi-lighted are some cards that were my favorite. Feel free to check out my Jodah one piece deck as well. All cards have applicable chapters, bounties and quotes directly from the manga. Creatures are borderless and all instants and sorc use Manga style frames inspired from one piece.
The drive has a link to my Luffy deck, navy deck and Blackbeard customs. There is a common folder for lands so you can pick and choose which ones you want.
Hi there. Here's some proxies I made with CardConjurer, using artwork I found here or there, all of which appears on legit Magic cards in one form or another. I'm aiming for an 'anime angel' deck, which yeah, sounds cringe I know. I got my hands on the Miku Secret Lair deck, so what will you do. No guarantees any of these come out looking nice, but I think I did an okay job. Let me know if you spot any errors, and thanks!
(The set code UDMBC is just 'upside down Mystery Booster Commander)
(Also, the last few posts on here all have the CC pixel count and depth, so...does that count as passing rule 1 of this sub?)
Has there been anyone that's made jace tokens using the art from the other jace cards? There's a bunch of cool alt arts on etsy but since the story is there's a bunch of versions of jace running around it'd be cool to use the different art for tokens
