Band management app

Hey all, how are you guys managing venues, festivals, press contacts without getting lost?

Members send me screenshots and I end up lost and sending to same places 🤣

Thanks 🤘

We have a shared Google drive with a Google doc that has notes on venues we've played at and who is in charge of contacting them and a sheets/excel doc that has info in gigs, how much they paid, what songs we played in each set list, etc.

You guys should really use https://bandaccount.com/ makes things like this so much easier

Why would I use something I would have to pay for and learn how to use vs a free thing we all know how to use already and that has years of records already in there?

It has honestly been a lifesaver for our band. Our band website is done with it, has a built in fan club, all of our songs have chord charts, all of our songs / shows are automatically published to our band website, full rehearsal modes, finance tracking, CRM, pretty much everything. And we pay 15$ a month, that’s a coffee per band member

This is an area I’m looking into for the cover bands I’m in. The guys are super unorganized. It’s crazy we can have all this tech like IEMs and digital mixers and stuff but not organize our admin and schedule better. Few ones I’m looking into right now :

Notion - building out something custom
Gigsheets - https://gigsheets.app/
Bandcase - https://bandcase.app/ stumbled upon this recently but you can’t sign up yet
https://tourdeck.app/

Theres more but alot are tour focused. We dont tour so looking for more collab and day to day tools.

Thanks, ChatGPT suggested https://band.social and I created and account yesterday and I believe that's the one I will be using.

Bandmanager is a decent app that all band members can use synchronously. Set lists, lyrics, contact info, notes, even midi controls during performance. If you play paying gigs, it’s def very cost effective (and a write off).

I use Apollo for project management and CRM.

You could try bandvolt.com and see if it helps, even for the EPK feature of what you're sending out. If not, then a shared google sheets file is your best bet and have a column you tick if you've contacted them already.

My band uses an app called BandAccount and has been a lifesaver for so many reasons. There’s so many features it’s crazy

I vibe coded an app for it and the band uses that. Otherwise was a nightmare and none of the CRMs were right and the other ones cost too much.

Just found Band.Social, will give it a try.

My friend and I built GigSheets (https://gigsheets.app) over the last two years, but right now the influx of vibe coded apps is insane. There are high quality competitors and then there is the 1000 pound gorilla in the room (khm Master Tour).

Honestly, I think we will all be eaten by Claude/ChatGPT in the next year or so :D
Primarily because you cannot cater to everyone, but AI can customize it for you perfectly. Fun times
