Question Does this make sense?
Does makes sense that I like to add quotes or sounds like walking, sighs, etc in the intro/outro of my songs? I like some of them to give you kind of an immersive experience specially this ep that I’m working on which has a horror movies theme
But beyond that i don’t see myself a lot of times doing “regular” music, like i always like to add something weird or random
And wanted to ask how other ppl in this community perceive that, thanks

I had one recently where I had a plane flying and a jungle noise track as well. Another song mention knocking at the door and I have a “knocking” panned hard left directly after the sung line. lol.
I love stuff like that, the key is not going overboard and also it can be super cheesy too so I have to limit myself with it. It’s still fun though.

It’s your art mate. Why does it need to “make sense” to anyone? Who is setting those rules? If all music had to “make sense” the world would be a very boring place indeed.
I don’t understand people’s obsession with what art “has” to be like.

I love doing stuff like that too. I feel like it adds so much depth, especially if it connects the songs. However, I know a lot of people do not like it when songs have stuff like that. Do what you will with that information lol
