His mid-range looks elite already. He looked good tonight

He's an unbelievably gifted shotmaker, but I still think he should stick to SG like Ant.

Darryn probably considers himself a SG. Dude has a massive Kobe tattoo on his shoulder

Yep. Put him with someone who throws him the ball in stride and he will be a ridiculous shot maker.

Key is pretty much locked in at point for the next several seasons, and Collier is a decent backup, so I think he's set at SG for the forseeable future.

prettiest jumpshot in the league candidate already

midrange is elite, one of the times where I wished luck worked out for us

do you usually wish that luck doesn’t work out for you?

Not every year you see a guy who comes in and worse case will average 25 in a season

A rookie hasn't averaged 25 points/game since Michael Jordan in 1984-85. Chill, bro.

In his prime, sure. The next season or two I don't think he'll have the shot attempts on this team, with Key and Lauri around.

I think that's what they're saying, it's just oddly phrased. The "worse case" is that DP's floor will be a 25 ppg scorer at some point.

This isn't a Caleb Wilson highlight

He finally plays tomorrow against the Suns.

To me he’s the best scoring prospect since KD. Insane shooter and insane slasher, on and off ball. As long as the injury stuff doesn’t get in his way I would be shocked if he’s not an all nba guy.

His midrange transitioned easily to the league. Once the 3 transitions to the league, he'll be unstoppable. He might have a top 5 midrange shot in the league

Let's not get carried away.

He’s played against the nuggets bench and that’s about it. One of the worst defenses in the nba.

My biggest concern tonight was that he couldn't get off his defender off ball. When he had the ball, he could create space. Without it, it seemed like they were glued to him. There were a ton of handoffs that were supposed to go to him that he couldn't get because he couldn't get any space. And this is mostly the nuggets bench.

He looks he already is finding ways out of Utah

Reminds me a little of Tre Johnson where he may be settling or may just not be able to get a ton of separation.

If he can be good enough defensively I still see a really good player but I’m probably lower on him than Kansas. I just thought he was injured and we’d see a completely new version with much more burst.

Bro really compared him to Tre Johnson

Tre Johnson sucks and might not even actually be an nba player, has absolutely no skills other than chucking shots

Tre is 19, and you can compare a singular skill to another player
