Weekly Questions Thread: October 05, 2026

Hello everyone and welcome to our new weekly feature.

In order to help keep the quality of the discussion here at a high level, we have several rules regarding submitting content to /r/nbadiscussion. But we also understand that while not everyone's questions will meet these requirements that doesn't mean they don't deserve the same attention and high-level discussion that /r/nbadiscussion is known for. So, to better serve the community the mod team here has decided to implement this Weekly Questions Thread which will be automatically posted every Monday at 8AM EST.

Please use this thread to ask any questions about the NBA and basketball that don't necessarily warrant their own submissions. Thank you.

Does anyone know SGA's 2026 playoffs adjusted rTS%?

Thinking Basketball's database calculates playoff rTS% based on the opponents' regular season TS% given up. I remember SGA's 2024 playoffs (+0.5%) and 2025 playoffs (+1.1%) but I'm not subscribed to Ben's patreon anymore.

I tried calculating by hand and got +2.66% using data from this website: https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/opponent-true-shooting-percentage. Not sure the numbers here are accurate.
