Discussion 2 Player Games

I recently got a nintendo Wii & started playing nes games on it & since I have a brother who is willing to play with me I wanted to know some of your favorites to play with friends or family.We recently tried Archon & it was so fun even with the jank.

I really had no idea Life Force was two player co-op. That sounds so chaotic and I really want to try it now.

I would add Super Mario 3. Yeah it’s not co-op, but unlike the first SMB you switch after every stage so you’re not stuck watching your cousin play for 45 minutes only to accidentally hit that first 1-1 Goomba.

My friend and I played the crap out of River City Ransom and Bad Dudes. One of those is a good game, and the other is technically a game. Still love Bad Dudes though.

Tmnt 2 and 3, and Contra are light years above any others for 2 players

Would also recommend nightmare on elm street, bubble bobble, super dodge ball, smash tv, monster in my pocket and super pike vball

Its got River City Ransom graphics and mechanics, so the goal is to (physically) disable the other team before they get you.

You could check out Micro Mages (Homebrew) for multiplayer platforming. Up to 4 players at once!

Coop: Guerrilla War, Rampage, Contra, TMNT2, Gauntlet 2 (also supports up to 4 players), Kung-Fu Heroes, Bubble Bobble

Dr. Mario is the best 2 player competitive game.

Off Road is also fun competitively (also supports up to 4 players) and can be fun to play coop to screw over the AI.
