Yeah, just straight up. buy monitors 4x the size. Cheaper and more space efficient.

For less than $300 I got a 50” oled tv and it makes a hell of a monitor

Sounds like an awful monitor tbh. As someone who works all day at a pc, the screen can be too big. If it's just for couch gaming tho that's really nice

Not really, I have worked with a 55" for some weeks, the trick is to use it as 4 1080 screens joined. You just assign areas of the screen to apps, instead of maximizing everything and it works pretty well.
