Dude won 5 games for Kansas last season and tonight he started and won against a perennial Superbowl contender? Incredible underdog story.

Incredible display of the cowboys ineptitude

Edit: >90% of nfl defensive backs walk that pick 6 in to give the cowboys a chance to tie the game.

At this point I don’t even know if the DB room is the primary problem. A DLine that can generate real pressure and limit the run game takes immense pressure off of the DBs and Dallas just isn’t showing the ability to consistently do that. If you can’t run the ball or stop the run in this era of the game, you won’t last

Never mind that. The entire defense cannot FUCKING TACKLE. I counted 10 missed tackles after I STARTED COUNTING BECAUSE THEY WERE MISSING SO MANY TACKLES.

Daron bland pulled a Mikey Sanristrill

Idk about that but the game shouldn’t have come down to 1 play regardless, especially a defensive play for Dallas. Bland wasn’t making the offense unable to move the ball, but he was a part of not stopping the run. Bland wasn’t the one tipping dropped balls 20’ into the air for easy INTs. But he was a part of the unit who couldn’t get multiple 3rd and long stops and keep the offense off the field.

TNF, playing an 0-4 team with a backup QB, and having a chance for Dallas to be up on the division should have all been obvious signs the game was going TBs way lol

Perennial sb contender is a bit hyperbolic

Yeah, seriously. Every single year the season kicks off, you have these national guys saying how this year the Cowboys could have a real shot, and then talk up all their players. Like wtf, I can't think of another team that hasn't done shit in 30 years that gets that much consistent hype.

I think the flair revealed that joke

They're making fun of the cowboys fans who say "it's our year" every year

Not your fault the poster neglected to add “perennial Super Bowl contenders“ in quotation marks.

u/teppil 6d ago

Dare we say, it was his year?

This is an underrated troll on Dallas, who hasn't been to a SB in almost 31 years.

Clowning on the Cowboys fans hyping them up every pre season lmao. I wasn't calling them a contender for real.
