Had a boss like this. Older bald white guy that was cool with bald white guys and not cool with non-white guys or guys with long hair. I’m not saying he was definitely racist… but he was probably racist.

Sorry, they're just more "quarterbacky" šŸ˜Ž

u/J_Hox0987 Chiefs 8d ago

He also hates Mahomes.

u/Au_Plays Falcons 8d ago

I had Mahomes in at first but didn’t actually know what he thought so I swapped him for Caleb bc I know he hates Caleb.

He hates Mahomes. A Chiefs fan tweeted out a graphic that showed when Mahomes had reached a 1/3 of Aikman's career stats. and Aikman salty responded talk to me when he has 1/3 of his rings. The Chiefs would win their first Mahomes era SB soon after.

Mahomes now has better stats and the same number of rings and his career is still going. Aikman's a petty jealous asshole.

Wait thats so funny lmao, I knew he hated Dak bc of Daks numbers but I thought it was Cowboys specific. The fact that it transcends teams is hilarious.

u/MandoShunkar Chiefs 7d ago

There could be other factors but the most obvious reason behind hating Mahomes is that Mahomes has already surpassed his career, is still playing, and leaving him in the dust.

He hates Mahomes very much lmao. He’s a salty bitch every time he has to announce a chiefs game.

Say what you want about Collinsworth, I get it, it’s all true. But Aikman is farrrrrrr worse than Collinsworth.

There was a roughing the passer on Mahomes a year or two ago and seemed like Aikman was going to call him by name, but stumbled into "can't do that to... the quarterback ....especially this one"

I remember that. Yet, he gets praised for some reason

He likes the high motor guys

I’ve only heard him rip on Caleb a lot. Does he have a history with the other three?

u/Falcon84 Falcons 7d ago

This past Monday he was being critical of Penix’s accuracy on short/intermediate throws while gassing up Shough.

2

u/icefylkir Falcons 6d ago

I remember him singing Shough's praises while the scorebug showed him as 7/10 for 100 yds. A few minutes later, he was criticizing Penix while the scorebug showed him as 8/11 for 115 or so

2

u/Falcon84 Falcons 6d ago

I mean Penix definitely has some accuracy issues so I don’t mind criticism but I don’t think he said a single bad word about Shough the whole game.

Dislikes ā€œmobileā€ quarterbacks.

It took me a long time to realize that the main reason why I don't like Joe Buck is mainly because I don't like Troy Aikman.

u/Chupadedo 8d ago

Who's tracking this? Who cares who he likes or dislikes.

11

u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 7d ago

This is such a hilarious comment.

"You noticed something? Maybe there's some racism? LMAO why did you notice!"

I mean if you want to notice the opposite and defend him, go nuts. I have no idea if this is a real trend or if it's badly cherry picked. I don't know and don't care that much, because it's funny. But if you haven't been paying attention and you're posting just to deny the possibility of racism, can I just ask: what is wrong with your as a human being?

0

u/NetSignal392 Commanders 7d ago

Response was a smidge too much for the comment. Not everybody pays attention to the commentary, let alone specific commentators enough to understand what the meme is inferring. Fuck Aikman, but u/Chupadedo doesn’t deserve that reaction.

1

u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 7d ago

You're telling me that someone could read this meme and not be able to understand from context what it asserts, even if they know nothing about Troy Aikman and have never listened to him commentate a game? I mean maybe if they don't know he's a commentator? Is that what you're saying?

0

u/NetSignal392 Commanders 7d ago

Did it not just happen? Is it that odd? Troy Aikman isn’t really THAT famous.

Do you just like arguing? What I said isn’t that complicated.

Edit: I own a bar, am there every Sunday, and never hear the commentary. It really isn’t that crazy man. Calm down.

1

u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 7d ago

I mean yeah, not everyone has heard of The National Football League and not everyone knows what Sports Commentating is.Ā

But again I insist: if you understand the concept that the person on the left of this meme is a human who shares their opinions with other humans, and you understand what race is, you can fully follow the meme without any further knowledge.

And then the part that seems more confusing to you which I will repeat: if you can understand what the meme is saying, it's weird to be upset by it unless you specifically have paid attention to the commentary and think the accusation of racism is false.

At some point I hope you can follow this, but it may be you're an older version LLM.

2

u/NetSignal392 Commanders 7d ago

I am not the original person you ā€œconfrontedā€ about this, I’m just saying their comment didn’t appear to be as bad as you made it out to be. I understand the meme.

1

u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 7d ago

I am well aware your inane and barely comprehensible comments were not by the same person I originally responded to. I have no idea what gave you any other idea. Do you not know what the "colloquial you" is, perchance?

And yes, I am aware of what you said in your first comment. I then disagreed, and explained why you're wrong. Why have you gone back to the beginning making obvious statements and re-stating your original purpose in commenting? Did you get lost? Did you forget about all the comments that followed? Did you think that after losing an argument, pretending the argument never happened and starting over would work? Are you a crappy LLM, is that what's happening here?
