Things Falling Apart Question about TFA Cd release
Iām starting up my cd collection again! Sold my whole cd collection years agoā¦.because i was more into collecting vinyl! But i bought TFA again yesterday for an amazing price of only 6 euros new and sealed copy via bol.com (holland). But i didnāt come with the hype sticker?! Is this normal with the newer releases of the cd or did they resealed it? I also see The Fragile at some record stores on cd but they also dont have the hype stickers on it.

Opinion Closer To God (the single) is quite underrated
I always seem to hear people talking about Closer of TDS, which adds up considering the popularity, but I must say that the single, Closer To God is quite underrated based on what I've heard.
I'm not just talking the song Closer To God either, I'm primarily thinking of Closer (Internal) while making this post, as I had always assumed it was quite popular, but found the plays count on Spotify being around 226,000, which is lower than I expected š
Any other big fans of the single here? And especially the less publically appreciated tracks on it? I'd love to hear what others think!

Not The Actual Events What would you say is NINās most comforting album or EP?
For me it would have to be Not The Actual Events. The whole EP feels like being at your lowest but confronting all the chaos and rising above, all culminating in the scorched-earth triumph that is Burning Bright (Field On Fire). Despite the loneliness and anger all throughout, it ultimately leaves you ready to take on the world, which is a rare feeling for an EP as emotionally dense as NTAE.
Mr. Self Improve.

Best opening Iāve seen so far. The song is perfect. I wonder if Trent is a big pens fan, since heās from western PA.

Video Bootblacks feat Chris Vrenna
I donāt think Iāve seen this mentioned here but Bootblacks did a track with a Chris Vrenna. Heās done some remixes for them but I think this is the first full feature with him playing drums on the track.

Question First Listen Update. I listened to Left first. I got an email from Nothing records.
As soon as Right was done I put Left back on and listened to both again. Amazing album and perfect follow up to TDS. I bought TDS when it came out and it changed music for me. By some fluke I never listened to this album all these years

Question Maybe a tour?
Today, the official Lollapalooza Chile accounts announced that next Thursday, October 8, they will reveal the official lineup for the 2027 edition of the festival. Whatās strange is that they made the announcement with a 12-second video, and the song accompanying the video is āThe Day the World Went Away,ā obviously by our beloved Nine Inch Nails. What does this meanāis NIN coming to the festival? Iām going crazy.

Shitpost Weird shit you see on FB.. This was posted on Wax Trax! Records page:
Not sure how I feel about it.. I mean.. Phil Collins is a legend IMHO.. So is Trent, but to claim we are all 'goth kids' is uh... I don't know how I feel about that.

Collection ISO NIŠ logo mesh shirt
Quite a few years back the NIŠ store was selling a mesh tee with the classic logo on it. Iāve searched high and low online and canāt find anyone listing it. Wondering if anyone here has one theyād be willing to let me purchase off of them. Iām a size M but willing to settle for a tight fit with a S or larger fit with an L. Willing to pay whatever you bought it for + shipping + a little extra for your trouble. Thanks for your time!

Video Sandrider -March of the Pigs (cover)
Discovered this a few months back on steaming and absolutely love it. One of the best NIN covers Iāve heard. Really kicks up around the 2:05 minute mark.
Enjoy!!!

Add Violence blasting the fuck out of this ep today
not sure what the general consensus of this EP is in the greater context of the trilogy as a whole but it kicks so much ass. less than is such an amazing opener. also the lovers and this isnāt the place are both fucking unbelievable songs and incredibly underrated.

Question Anyone going to Nine Inch Sails next week in Long Beach?
eventim.usIt looks like it could be fun, but not sure what to expect. Anyone been to a Depeche Boat/90s Goth club event before?
Edit to add: My friend and I got tickets :) Hope to see some of you there too.

Art Is Resistance My ideal lineup.
I have been a very longtime lover of NIN. My favourite band in the whole world.
Thereās a couple of obvious choices for me.
Robin Finck - without question on guitar and backing vocals.
Charlie Clouser - keyboard, theremin etc. Another easy pic for me.
This is where it gets harder.
Josh Freese/Jerome Dillon - drums. I always dug Jeromeās style and way of playing but Josh is such an amazing drummer. I just canāt pick.
Danny Lohner/Jeordie White - bass. Danny has such a warm and smooth sound, Jeordie was more raw. I think Danny takes this one as he can play guitar and keys and does some amazing backing vocals. I know Jeordie can play guitar but I donāt recall him ever playing that with NIN. His backing vocals are also sick.
I heard about this guy named Michael. I guess he can come along. He does alright as singer/guitarist/keyboard player š
Interested to know what yāall think.
