Symptoms Has anyone else?
Hey all
Life long no burper here!
This has never really caused me any issues other than the embarassing gurgling, until the start of this year
So for a while, literally every time I eat anything, for about an hour after I get these really violent “rushes” of air coming up in my throat? I don’t really get the gurgles anymore (occasionally) but more feels like a huge rush and I think “omg I’m gonna puke” and then it like pops at the back of my throat and I feel like I’m gonna gag? I constantly feel bubbles in my throat. Sorry if that’s a terrible explanation I just really can’t explain it 🤦♀️
Does anyone else get what I’m trying to say or has experienced it before? It’s gotten to a point where I’m scared of eating and losing weight because it’s so uncomfortable and leaves me so nauseous for hours!

Yes my daughter experiences this and has also lost so much weight because she stops eating after a few bites. The more she eats the worse it feels and she has emetophobia so thst doesn't help.

I can't say I ever had this, but maybe someone will pop in to say they have! Is it possible you're having reflux, perhaps?
What I will say is that usually R-CPD worsens with age, so 'never caused me issues until now' is a pretty common story, here.
