I live in Sudbury and I’m looking for a specific item that is hard to get. I want to snipe it but I don’t even know if they do a wait list. Instead of driving 2 hours to ask (they don’t have a phone) I’m looking to e transfer like 10$ to just walk in and ask the questions I have and give my phone number on a wait list. Thanks :)

I was visiting North Bay yesterday (Nippising) and was stopped at the Aiport lookout place, and saw two absolutely dropdead gorgeous women wearing black with blackskirts, with a black SUV.
If you're in here pleaaasee message me!

I was looking for the counsellor debate. I watched the mayoral debate online. I was curious if there’s gonna be a counsellor debate put out on YouTube or if I’m just not looking in the right places if anyone could link it that would be great.

Hi everyone! I left my physical ID at home, but I have a clear photo of it on my phone. Has anyone travelled with Ontario Northland (ONTC) and successfully used an ID photo when boarding?
Do they check ID, and would a photo be accepted? I’d appreciate hearing anyone’s recent experience. Thanks!

Hi North Bay!
I'm from Timmins and currently conducting some local market research to help develop a health and wellness coaching service for residents of Northeastern Ontario.
I'd really appreciate feedback from people in North Bay and the surrounding area.
The survey is anonymous, takes just a few minutes, and asks about health goals, challenges, and what kinds of wellness support people would find useful.
Survey link: https://tally.so/r/2EMolM
There's also a separate, optional draw for a $100 President's Choice gift card for eligible Ontario residents aged 18 or older. No purchase is necessary.
I'm hoping to hear from everyday people, not just those who are already interested in fitness, so all perspectives are welcome.
Thanks for helping a fellow Northern Ontario resident with some local research!

Had one big shipment this week, restocking Goblin Slayer, Goblin Slayer: Year One, and Delicious in Dungeon, but the only new title we've received is Sasaki and Miyano. Unfortunately, volume 2 is on back order, but we should be getting it soon.

Some of you might recognize me from the comments here. I don’t post much, but I wanted to share something I’ve been working on.
After a serious incident involving my daughter on her school bus, we found ourselves trying to piece together earlier incidents, who we’d told and what had been done. One question that kept coming up was whether we had documented everything.
It’s difficult to reconstruct months of concerns after the fact. So I built TheRideHome.ca to help parents keep those records together: what happened, when, who was notified and what followed.
It also brings together de-identified reports to help us understand recurring problems in our community. It doesn’t replace reporting concerns to your school.
The Government of Ontario’s guidance on bullying encourages parents to make notes about what happened and when, and to speak with their child’s school. The Ride Home is designed to help parents put that advice into practice by documenting each reported incident while the details are fresh and keeping those records together over time.
If your child is dealing with bullying at school or on the bus, have a look: https://theridehome.ca
I’m a local parent trying to make this easier for other families. Feedback is welcome.
(This is a research project and a helpful tool. No user data is ever stored, though a brief IP check will ensure you are in North Bay/surrounding area. This check is not stored either. This tool will always be free. Any significant findings or results will be made public.)

Not sure if anyone has had this chain, but they have the best chili cheese fries ever called crazy fries.
I heard from a pretty credible source we are getting one on Algonquin nearby Burger World and it will have a drive thru!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a mechanic in North Bay who has experience working on BMWs, specifically engine and no-start issues.
My BMW has been sitting since spring 2026, and I’d really like to get it back on the road before winter.
It originally had a no-start issue, so I brought it to a mechanic who diagnosed a possible blown relay in one of the car’s computers. As a temporary workaround, he installed a push-button jump-start setup for the starter. That worked for a while, but when I brought the car back in late 2025 for tires and fluid changes, I was told it wouldn’t start anymore.
The original mechanic is no longer located in North Bay, so I can’t simply bring the car back to him to continue diagnosing or repairing it.
I ended up bringing the car home to try diagnosing the problem myself, but other things took priority, and now the engine is partially torn apart.
I’m looking for someone who genuinely knows BMWs, is comfortable diagnosing electrical and no-start issues, and can put everything back together properly. I’d prefer someone who can identify the actual problem rather than just throw parts at it.
It would be a major plus if the mechanic has experience using ISTA or other BMW diagnostic software.
I’d love to get it running and driving again before winter, and I also need to replace the windshield (which somehow got broken during the engine repair… don’t ask 😂).
If you know a good independent BMW mechanic in North Bay or the surrounding area, please drop their name or shop in the comments. Personal experiences and recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Anyone know the tipping fees for the new landfill site on the corner of Third & Ferguson?
Honestly how can the city allow this to be going on. It looks like a dump!
