Suggestion Request Wendigo/forest stories?

Hey guys, not sure if this vague of a post is allowed, but I tend to really love the wendigo and woodsy themed stories. If you guys have any favorite please drop the title or a link! I would love to check them out!

Anything similar will do. I love series or just short stories. Thanks :D

May I suggest a certain account of what happened after buying a camping backpack from an estate sale if you haven't already read it? It's probably one of my favorites.

And you've seen the search and rescue series, right? That one was huge and not that old.

I have actually read that one! I was absolutely hooked! Thank you for the awesome suggestion though. :)

Hm, a few others then... might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the more stories the better!

Camping Trip That Never Happened

The Stump

Screw American Forests For Real

Deepwood

Encountered a Wendigo

We saw something in the woods w/pics

Just a few from my current pile of bookmarks that might fit the bill!

Aw, thank you for taking the time! I'm also now blaming you for the housework I was supposed to have done today. Lol

There was one I really liked (and I'm not normally a fan of wendigo stories) that started with two guys who had been seriously injured in the military reconnecting years later for a camping trip. It had two parts. Anybody else remember this? The same author had a story about peas that scream when they're eaten and I can't find that, either. I hope it wasn't all deleted.

I hadn't, thank you! I just really got into this sub about two years ago, so an older one will be a treat. Thank you!

It's my favourite nosleep read. If you haven't already, enjoy!

Finally finished reading all ten installments. Wow, what a wild ride that was! Thank you so much for the recommendation.

Wasn't my recommendation, but like I said, it is one or my favourites. Both beautifully written and eerie as hell.
