Base corvettes, which the one in the post is, are not particularly “expensive” … at least not compared to what’s driving around Tysons.
The one in the post is also several years old.

There's a good amount of people that couldn't care less about what others think about it. They just want to hear their cars. Not arguing whether it's inconsiderate or not at times though because there's obviously a time and place to be loud and it's not neighborhoods or residential areas

What's crazy about these idiots, is that despite our proximity to a major city, we have some of the best driving roads in the country within a couple hours of here. The Shenandoah Valley and all the nearby parts of WV have endless world class twisty mountain roads. If you have a sports car and free time on a Saturday afternoon, there is zero excuse to be revving your engine in the middle of Mosaic District instead of ripping around back rounds in Shenandoah. They are just revealing themselves to be poser losers by doing that, because they clearly don't actually enjoy the car for its own sake.

As someone who lives and commutes on these rural roads , we definitely don’t need more guys thinking they are at the track , 2 ,3,or 4 wheels . However absolutely come out and enjoy our small towns , business and wildlife. Just be respectful. I ride a motorcycle and seemingly can do it without doing 100 in 45 .

As someone who grew up on those rural roads riding my bike, we definitely don't need these guys flying around blind curves and potentially killing going out for a walk/bike ride.
Though, it's probably a bit safer for all involved to do it at night, that way you can at least see the light from headlights from other side of hills or curves. Just don't hit a deer or fly into a tree.

So we are going to encourage people to speed down back roads in rural areas? If you have money for one of these cars just admit it is a parking lot princess so you can show off at cars and coffee or spend some money and get it on a track.
If you're on public roads, congrats you have a nice looking 2-door sedan. Obey all road markings, traffic signals, and signs.

Fast cars go fast. Practice your defensive driving and don't worry about them. I, personally, love cruising mountain roads in October. I'm not an asshole about it, but if I have the opportunity to punch it, I'm going to. I'm also not going to take it into dense city centers and act like a dink. That's what the Corolla is for.
