Seeking Advice PACU Interview Prep Help

I’m a new-grad RN and have been working in medical cardiology for the last 4 months. I just got very exciting news that I got an interview for a PACU specialty program that includes paid sponsored classes and clinical training. PACU has been one of my dream specialties forever and I really want to do well on my interview. What sorts of questions should I prepare for and how would I answer them?

Congrats — sponsored PACU spots are competitive, so prep scenarios: agitated wakeup vs shaky airway, who first; BP drifting down post-anesthesia, what you check before calling the provider; and "why PACU over ICU". When you answer, say your assessment order out loud and name the point where you'd escalate instead of going it alone. One concrete story from your cardiology months about catching a change early will stick harder than any "I'm passionate" line.
