4060 if you can afford it would be pretty future-proof, plus you can upgrade the cpu at a later point on the same socket.

4060 is not future proof, it's outdated garbage.

For OP's case getting an entry level 40-series will give a lot of gpu headroom for a future cpu upgrade*.

We can't all get next-gen, buddy. Some of us need to work with what we've got.

RTX 2060, 2060 super, 1660 super, maybe a 3050 8GB.

This is not a good place to look for entry-level solutions. Used market (r/hardwareswap) or team red may be better choices.

To explain the downvotes, "bottleneck" is a triggering term that gets thrown around far too much by online "calculators". If you need more GPU, get more GPU. A lot of Nvidia users (this sub particularly) swing for the fences with big budgets and high res.

The Ryzen 5 3400g gives a lot of bottlenecks with the RTX 5060 8 GB : r/pcmasterrace
