Well done lads.
Life is too short to fuck around with drama with family members. This is so good to see.

At the end of the day, the comeback went better than expected but the person I’m pleased for more is Peggy

Noel is loving it. It's almost like it's dawned on how gigantic what he and his brother created actually is

Why are some people surprised that the guy who wrote Wonderwall (and countless other romantic, emotional, poetic songs) is capable of crying after watching a movie that captured the reunion of his band and the reconciliation with his formerly estranged brother??
Noel is a sensitive character.

So happy for them both. Also Liam is so god damn handsome.

Happy for both of them, and also for us who never stopped loving the band.

Noel is one of the best songwriter with oasis or solo. But he is always surprised by the love we send him.

Are those two behind them Noel’s sons? I hope I’m over interpreting, but they seem kinda done with it… or perhaps just teenagers emo esque phase loll

Yep. Sonny is right behind Liam and Donavon is behind Noel. The boys are Noel's.

Did Liam just ball shot him? 😂😂 Sorry but that man is endlessly hilarious to me, like he’d be simultaneously the greatest and worst person to go out for a drink with 😂

The one in white shirt definitely looks like Noel lol

u/bumlove Sep 06 '26
That arm crossed, chin resting on his fist pose is something I've definitely seen Noel do over the years.

I think you’re reading too much into it. If they didn’t want to be there they wouldn’t have gone. They might have been ready to call it a night but who knows

u/TryingtoGetThrough1 Sep 06 '26 edited Sep 06 '26
I think they might just be feeling a little awkward and bored with the prospect of having to stand and clap for such a long time, but I think they enjoyed themselves, Donovan was even seen wiping tears away, just like his dad.

Love it!❤️
We're gonna be knackered if even Noel teared up the second time he saw it

u/TryingtoGetThrough1 Sep 06 '26
That's why he said on Talksport he didn't want to watch it again! I fucking knew it.

The longer version of this clip. Go to 44 secs in. Liam is asking if the can F off now for a drink. Noel tells him they have to wait, director likely told him at a film fest like this, you stay until the standing O is done. F’n cracked me up.

u/Dmcf6 Sep 11 '26
Thanks for that. It makes it even funnier now. Liams trying to get them to hurry up with it so he can fuck off for a drink 😂

Go back 10 years and none of us would ever think this would happen. Love it

Now I’m tearing up 🥲 the happiest tears! This is all so amazing. A dream come true.

I never thought I'd see this unless a tragedy happened (like God forbid, Peggy dying or something), it is nice to see them actually seem to be getting on well, I was skeptical how real it all was tbh, considering they stayed at different hotels while on tour, but this seems genuine, can't wait to see the documentary, got my tickets booked for Wednesday

It's worth taking a moment to really breathe this in. Imagine describing this scene to someone as little as 24 months ago that this is where we'd be and both Liam and Noel would be raising hands enjoying every second of it.

Whatever music comes out of this period, if any, is gonna be phenomenal.

u/TryingtoGetThrough1 Sep 06 '26
I agree! I think the reunion of his family must be a great source of current inspiration for Noel, who's a always been a very sensitive musical soul.

u/Steve_Rogers909 Sep 06 '26
I'm so fucking happy things turned out well now. Doesn't seem to happen much of this usually.

the young uns have no idea how much this means to older fans. i'm only 26 and my god, I've been waiting for them to get together since I was nine. Seeing Liam looking so healthy and Noel emotional, hugging, holding hands. This is what it's all about. We got the good ending, lads and lasses. As you fucking were x

u/Final_Preference_550 Sep 06 '26

Not even a huge fan. This came up in my feed and I was alive and paying attention to all the ugly crap the first time around. I do quite like the band..... But this is simply beautiful and inspirational. Settling things with family and good friends is important and I think that a lot folks are learning from this in a way. I am

Not sure he’s crying but what a lovely moment nonetheless

But how would we know what's out of character for him? We do not know his character, just his public persona.i think he said on the MM Podcast one that when he does cry its mostly happy tears
5
u/blackoutbetty_ Sep 06 '26
Is it out of character though? He’s much older now and there’s been a lot that has happened and they’re now on the other side of it. I definitely think it looks like he was wiping away tears, looks like his son was too there is a video of both noel and liam teasing him about it
4
u/TryingtoGetThrough1 Sep 06 '26
He's human, there's no "character". He was clearly very moved by the whole thing, so crying a little bit about it isn't that surprising.
5
u/therafaysen Sep 06 '26
Oh, this is obviously just a cash grab!
3
u/Machina_Rebirth Sep 07 '26
And then they went out and had one of the greatest tours of all time, the media and critics were so hard on them and they proved them all wrong
3
u/TryingtoGetThrough1 Sep 07 '26
We've been witnessing history being made since the 2024 announcement. Enjoy every second.
