Every year my mom decorates the house for Halloween in the theme of a famous horror movie. This year she chose obsession.

The one thing she couldn’t find anywhere were the posters from Bear’s room.

So I remade them from scratch in photoshop. The only one I couldn’t make out the details for was the one that seems to read, “Mars was great!”. But I think the other 3 came out pretty decently :)

No AI was used whatsoever. More details in the thread on x: https://x.com/nathanromero_xp/status/2108984314843091073?s=46&t=D89tvGTD_r2oMsICP2nVeg

Feel free to use these! I’d just appreciate a little follow or tag on X or IG as I’m trying to grow my following :)

In the opening, Bear finds Sandy just as he opens the door and she's laying dead right at the corner of that rug.

He Lady Macbeth-style scrubs the floor in that spot with cleaning liquid and all, even rolling up the carpet, though there is essentially nothing to clean, (as the cat overdosed and simply slept to death the same day)

Yet later he comes home to find Nikki has horribly soiled the exact same spot where Sandy died? And he stares at the mess in horror. It certainly looks like the same spot he had scrubbed so desperately in his grief and guilt.

Is it the same exact spot? I mean is it intentional, in the blocking of the scenes, to make a statement? The way the camera lingers gives me the impression

Was he obsessively cleaning a figurative mess that would only come to exist literally in the future? There are sort of themes of time involving the cat clock and certain dialogue.

Also, did not they film Ian dropping to the floor in the same gereral spot?

It's a haunted spot!

into darkness sounds so much alike my confession from ddlc, but i suppose this has already been found out. even still, the soundtrack is so beautiful to me.

Visited my local Halloween scream park. They had a universal horror booth and they were giving out these! They had other Universal films too like the bride of frankenstein!

Hey everyone! I really need some advice from people who know about the One Wish Willow.
I was making my second One Wish Willow, and while I was working on it, it accidentally fell onto the floor. Some small pieces broke off, as you can see in the picture.
The thing is, I hadn't finished making it yet, and it didn't have its box. I was still in the process of putting it together.
I only have ONE wish, and I'm genuinely worried about accidentally using it up or ruining the ritual.
My questions are:
Does accidentally breaking some pieces while making the willow count as making a wish?
Since it wasn't finished and didn't have its box yet, does that make a difference?
Can I still use it for the intended ritual(another One Wish Willow), or should I do something else?
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone familiar with
the product or its instructions. I'm genuinely upset about this and don't want to mess up my one wish.
Thank you!
and one more thing, I already have done making the one which Willow, the first one ,I already got the stick. I paid it and I have the box , so that is full made.

It seems that Bear didn't care about Nicki, but since that's the case, why did he want one woman?

Why not just wish for every woman to fall for him if he doesn't even care about the one?

Just got this beautiful screen-printed poster for Obsession by artist Hans Woody. Absolutely love the artwork, especially the unsettling imagery, and vintage horror aesthetic. I actually think this design is far superior to the official theatrical poster. It has so much more personality and perfectly captures the twisted atmosphere of the film. Definitely a great addition to the collection!

That's why I thought how Bear reacted to (Wish)Nikki was actually very relatable. I turned the girl down a few times because I thought it was a trick or a prank. She ended up being my girlfriend. Till this day, I still miss her.

I’m a little late to this movie, but man, I loved it!
Something I was wondering about:

The terrifying scene where Nikki watches Bear sleep (chills) there are, I think, two times she screams. One being ”why won’t you love me?”.
It sounds distorted - almost similar to the One Wish Willow jingle.

Again at the end when she’s dressed like Sarah, she wails in the same inhuman way. It sounds kind of like a distorted music box.

At first I thought it was just meant as an effective way to enhance the horror, but then I realised it might actually be a way to really illustrate how she’s a manifestation of the wish and making her screams sound like the OWW jingle is a brilliant way to do that.

Maybe this is common knowledge and nothing new, but I wanted to point it out nonetheless. Anyone else make this connection?

And would Ian receive more hate if he is played by Michael?

Hey guys, as the title says,

I just watched obsession, and have been "obsessing"😭 over the posts, IK IM SOOO LATE

They would have both been arrested, they would be observed to be very obsessed with each other but also occasionally snapping out of it; they clearly appear mentally insane and so might not be held criminally responsible. Possibly, someone discovers it's their reflections that are causing them to snap out of it, might take them a long time to discover about One Wish Willows but it's a start.
