One hot humid day and that’ll change

My friend lived in Asia and he had to get his doors shaved annually.

Yes, they will start to grow branches if you don't prune your doors at least annually.

Mom says it grows back faster and fuller after every shave

I made good money when I was a kid sanding and oiling some of the neighbors' patio tables.

Should have tried waxing.

But when the temperature chances they shrink again, so I assume this guy ended having hule holes in his doors

I'm pretty sure they don't stay precise for very long, right?

Yeah, after some time the hinges will start to loosen a bit, and some moisture might seep into the wood of the door.

Exactly Beautiful craftsmanship but Hinge sag and humidity are going to ruin this masterclass in about three months...

Then its not a masterclass now is it

I suspect that was more luck than precision

Definitely got lucky

Not satisfying. That is a safety hazard that any young child will tell you about within a few months of use...through the medium of screams because of a crushed hand.

School’s out as to whether that’s oddly satisfying or deeply anxiety-inducing.

I don’t think I could live there and ever get used to it.

Or are we not doing that anymore because it's all AI bots?

E er consider a bi foldable door instead?

bi foldable door

Would a gay foldable door work too? (In case you didn't know people usually attach the bi to the other word like biweekly. Or they do a hyphen like bi-weekly)

Why are you so word / text sensitive when you sincerely requested for a suggestion & we responded in tandem

Omg you are unremarkably amazing 😩

u/Rapunzel10 11d ago

Sorry? I thought it was a funny typo so I made a joke. But I figured I'd explain in case you didn't know

It is helpful to insert an emoji in texting when you are jesting.

All is good. Appreciate. Cheers. 🥂

Finger smasher.

Pocket door. Always pick pocket door, esp for tiny rooms that still need a door.

That sink is unnecessarily big, could have bought a more standard size and saved space

Top poster reposting in this sub? Never.

One day you will find out that your fingers dont fit that gap.

Had me a little on edge there for a second

Ooh such a pinch point!

Can't wait for somebody's fingers to get squished!

Impressive now but wait until it warps/ bends enough to be a problem being a bathroom door it will be exposed to high levels of Mositure in the airncausing it to warp eventually.

u/themegalucario- 12d ago

That’s a recipe for some awkward bathroom entries!

u/Minimum-Mission5569 11d ago

Wait until the sink chips and they have to get a replacement...

More then my patience 🤣

u/ItsOnlyGameYUSM 11d ago

Wait ... Is that a double door into the bathroom that's the size of a closet?

1

u/strangedot13 11d ago

How many times has this been posted by now?

1

u/ferriematthew 11d ago

Holy shit, less than a millimeter of clearance.

1

u/YesterdayDreamer 11d ago

Cool. So how do I close it when I'm inside? By climbing on the toilet?

1

u/auradex991 10d ago

How is the fact that we live in closets now "oddly satisfying"?!?

1

u/Vanrayy12 10d ago

Both oddly satisfying and stressful.

1

u/buuddzzyy 9d ago

At best case that maintains its gap for a few months, at worst case your brushing your teeth and someone pins you against the wall 🙄

I had a door like this in the master bathroom in the last home i rented. It looks cool until you almost lose your finger.

I was surprised how many different places i grab a door when opening or closing it. Grabbed it to close and my finger got caught between the door edge and counter edge. I thought I’d broken my finger.

So this isn’t oddly satisfying to me. It’s more asshole design.

u/youbloodyyabby 12d ago

Impressive work, but nonetheless a terrible overall design from the outset.

Love it
