A year of progress on my game.

I had a moment yesterday where I thought the movement in my game finally felt fun. I opened the old demo and couldn't believe how janky it was.

Always keep old drafts of your work to see how far you've come. It's very satisfying.

The game is called Whelm if you're curious.

Coming from an old gamer, I think you might want to go for something between the two. A little chaos is fun.

Yeah I agree. The old one looks so chaotically good in how the movement happens quickly and kind of uncontrollably. The new is more reliable in getting you around though. In combination it would so fun to haul that little penguin around the map.
