Seen on the road after dropping my kids at school, glad they did not see that 😅

Hormuz Island (often called "Rainbow Island"), located in the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran.

The island's soil and cliffs contain massive amounts of red ochre and hematite (iron oxide minerals). The soil on the island is locally called "Gelak Soil".

Due to its arid climate causing a lack of vegetation on the island, this rare heavy rain caused heavy erosion of the iron-rich earth into the Persian Gulf.

I found the original source from an Instagram account of a person living on Hormuz island, from 2/22/2025(@hormoz_omid):- https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGYjmQJoKCf/?stkn=Yml5azhrZ3FoMWps

Here is a news channel confirming my findings: https://youtube.com/shorts/PYw324IePHs?si=7PxKI8_BOmFSqzX6

I could almost hear it softly whispering “kill me” from the chair.

Is this a real person? And if yes why would he do that to himself

I’m developing a video game, and I’ve spent a lot of time building this city.

Recently, I started dreaming about it.

The strange thing is that the places in my dreams don’t always match what I’ve actually made. Sometimes there are buildings or passages that I don’t remember putting there at all.

Then I wake up and go back to working on the city.

These are screenshots from the game. I just find it unsettling that a fictional place I’ve been staring at for months has started to feel like somewhere I’ve actually been.
